Mrs. Robbins Retires For about ten years, the Robbins Family made test runs at living in on the Camas Prairie. Then in 1973, they made it permanent. While Bruce worked for the Lazy F Ranch, Prairie Power, and construction jobs, Sue worked at Hidden Paradise Ranch, the Market Basket and Camas Grain. She also attend college for elementary education. Along with raising three children, being 4-H leaders, making cakes, and being involved in all kinds of community affairs, Bruce eventually ended up working for Idaho Power and Sue started working for the Camas County Public School. Last Saturday, Sue Robbins ended eighteen years with the school district with a retirement party. The celebration was especially sweet because just a few weeks ago, Sue went through surgery. Her quick recovery was a remarkable blessing. Friends and family thanked her for her many years of “hard work and dedication,” not only to the Camas School District, but to the whole community. tree before heading to the forest. Conditions on-the-ground vary greatly from area to area throughout the Forest. There are a few areas that are off limits for cutting Christmas trees. These include campgrounds, administrative sites, ski areas, summer home sites and organization camps. All of this information will be provided when you purchase your permit, including maps and rules for cutting trees. Again, people are advised to be well prepared when going into the forest to cut their tree. Weather and road conditions can change quite rapidly at this time of the year.
