News Animal Shelter Reaches Goal

The primary function of this new building will be to operate as an Intake Facility, meaning it provides a safe and humane place for the city to hold cats and dogs for the five days required by law. During that time, animals must be returned to their owner or placed in a new home. While waiting for the construction, they are not waiting to help the dogs and cats in our communities. If you have lost a pet or you are willing to give one of these animals a new home, go online to Wendell Animal Control or Gooding Dogs Group. You can also call 536-5161 or 420-6863.
