CL SITES WHAT IS A CL SITE?
The Motorcaravanners’ Club are authorised by Natural England, The Scottish Executive and The Welsh Assembly Government to issue licences for Certificated Locations. These are known as CLs. Owners of land may permit up to 5 Motorhomes or Caravans without the need of planning permission. The conditions are: • Not more than 5 ‘vans allowed on the site at any one time. • No ‘vans shall be allowed to stay for longer than 28 consecutive days. • Awnings and pup tents are allowed. • TENTS & TRAILER TENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
WHO RUNS THEM AND WHO CAN STAY ON THEM?
Many of our CL site owners are club members and provide very good sites for us all to use. If you have friends who have motor caravans it will enable you to meet at our sites. They don’t have to be members of our, or any other club to be made very welcome.
HOW DO I BECOME A CL SITE?
If you wish to become a CL or know of anyone who does please contact our office on 01684 311677, email suep@ themotorcaravannersclub.co.uk or download the details from the website.
