ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE RING WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER PRINTED MATERIAL IN THIS CATALOG. SHOULD ANY DISPUTE ARISE FROM THE TAKING OF BIDS, THE AUCTIONEER'S DECISION WILL BE FINAL.
TERMS: 100% cash, cashier's check, traveler's check, business or personal checks at the time of the sale. Also, payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card. A 4% convenience fee will apply for credit card payments. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any animal will be released.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: Registrations papers, application and/or service memos are available to buyers of each registered animal after settlement has been made. These are obtained from sale clerks. All transfer fees associated therewith are the responsibility of the buyer.
HEALTH CERTIFICATES: These are the responsibility of the buyer. A veterinarian will be available to assist buyers in obtaining appropriate health papers for their final destination.
BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Sellers make no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. All animals are being sold as is where is. Buyers are encouraged to contact sellers if problems or questions arise. Under no circumstances shall seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.

Zida Acres is a farm located in the rolling hills of Southeast Ohio approximately 18 miles from the Ohio River, raising Boer goats and cattle and owned by Kevin, Janet & Caleb Westfall.
As Caleb was reaching 4-H age, we purchased our first goats for him to begin with. It was on one such trip in the fall of 2001 to Freedom Farms, where we had intended to purchase a bred doe to add for the coming 4-H year. As Kevin was being shown some bred does to select from, Caleb disappeared into a pen of doe kids, as a little redbelted doe had caught his eye. No convincing could get him to look at any other animals. This little doe kid was the ONE. Of course, Dad bought him the little redbelted doe and he named her Zida. Little did we know the lifelong friendship that began that day, as well as the beginning of Zida Acres.
Caleb and Zida competed many years at the county fair in 4-H. Zida looked forward to the fair every year as she received alot of attention from the fair attendees. However, her favorite time was every Wednesday of the fair between 10-11 AM when she would join Caleb in the show ring for showmanship and breeding classes. She would do anything for him and many ribbons and banners were won.
We spent many years traveling to ABGA sanction shows at the local and National levels resulting in many awards, ribbons and lifelong friendships that we still hold dear today. Caleb has also received his ABGA judges certification.
As Caleb left to attend college at The Ohio State University, Zida's favorite day became Friday when he would return home in the evening and walked into the barn. She would always run to greet him as if he was the only person in the world. Zida is no longer with us, but will always live on through our memories.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the years by bidding and purchasing our animals at the sales. We hope they have brought your family alot of good memories.
As we reduce our herd, we are by no means finished. We wait in anticipation as Caleb's young family of Lace, Lainey & Marshall grow into show age and we wonder who the next ZIDA will be to them.
