The Aid by Trade Foundation is proud to present its Cotton made in Africa Annual Report 2015 where we report on our work and progress achieved. Social injustice and a wealth gap from north to south mean that the concerns of Cotton made in Africa are more topical than ever. In 2015, we were able strongly increase revenues from partnership contributions as a result of the constantly expanding global network of CmiA partners. Approximately 750,000 smallholders were verified with a production volume of just under 400,000 tonnes of lint cotton in accordance with the CmiA, CmiA-Organic and SCS standards.
