Thanks to our wonderful facilities we are able to provide more art, cultural, sport and wellness activities than most any other municipality of our size. Even better than our facilities is the magic that is created when a child finds an activity she loves, when a teen creates a new friendship that may last a lifetime, or a recent retiree picks up a paintbrush for the first time since childhood and rediscovers a half-remembered talent. If you have kids at home, look through this guide with them and encourage them to find an activity they want to do, whether it’s the new Ultimate Leaders summer camp program (see page 31), the newly launched Ultimate Frisbee team sport (see page 23), or any of the dozens of programs available. There’s a lot to choose from—for people of all ages. Take advantage of the programs and services your city has organized, use the facilities all around you, and have a great summer.
