“Change is coming” as the slogan says of the present administration. Former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is now sitting on the highest position in the country. With his administration against illegal drugs, President Duterte implemented “OplanTokhang,” one of the antiillegal drugs campaigns where illegal drugs personalities were surrendered to the police. President Duterte also made “Narco List,” a list where alleged personalities’ days are numbered, for they are involved in the illegal drug trade far and wide. President Duterte named a total of 160 individuals and alleged protectors of the illegal drugs including judges, mayors, soldiers, police and other local officials from Luzon to Mindanao. Duterte did not hesitate to name eight judges, 56 mayors including the incumbent and former politicians, and 96 from Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

President Duterte’s speech made the Ilonggos upset and galvanized that the issue may affect the city’s economy and tourism, yet the Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog denied the allegations. “I categorically say that I am not involved in protection, trade and use of illegal drugs. It is very unfortunate and disconcerting that my name is linked and included on the list.” Mayor Mabilog said during his press conference.

Running through the wisdom of change makes everyone defy their own hand writings. Just like dancing in the song they sang, change offers two options: it’s either bad or good and for sometimes, it’s both things. Meantime, mayors, likewise, were called by authorities for a ‘speedy-investigation’ to clear their names. The allegations of President Duterte, maybe true or not, Iloilo continues to progress and stand up against illegal drugs despite being tagged as the “Most Shabulized City”.

Profession can be a name in the society, but the silence of experience that taught every mankind is much more powerful that transforms everything. Once a year, it’s a celebration to honor the profound individuals–individuals that can be considered as your relative, friend or maybe a stranger. Wonder who? Don’t be. They have been there for ages. Before the scientists discovered themselves as they were, they were already there. Though the evolution of man known and theorized by Charles Darwin added to a large chunk of information, millions of teachers were at work to dispense every timely knowledge. Looking to the educational system, there’s hope to convey the noblest job. Teachers are individuals who impart unitary knowledge to different perceiving minds. A teacher is a man or a woman that disciplines and directs the different personalities of bodies inside the four walls of an academic institution. They could also

be a parent that caters the needs their children, the students considering each a brother or a sister, and a friend that calls people by their names. They are called professional teachers that work 24/7 without minding how they are being paid. Their gratitude to face another challenging day of giving knowledge and motivating students is impalpable.

Have you considered yourself as a teacher? Have you ever thought to be in their shoes? What were they thinking if their students failed in their subjects?

Who is to be blamed after all if you are

not determined to give your best as a student? Teachers could give input and theories but the experiences they provide are more efficient and effective. An individual may consider a throbbing or blissful aftermath; they have parted the whole existence of human that made them wiser and more confident in their living. Imagining the right mix of chalk challenges to change a life–a dream that begins with just poking a sharp stick they called truth. They are the most inspiring people who tug, push, and lead us to the next plateau, our educa-

Moreover, it emits different diseases accumulated from the society. And worst, it causes epidemic. Life may upgrade through the innovations of technology, but it never exempts circumstances vary. If there are modernizations, almost of the things follow even the frailties of the world. Why did it happen? In simple ways, just like improper throwing of garbage, use of chemicals and irresponsible cutting of trees are the root cause of it.

To adhere this issue, the National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) addresses the dare of climate change.

It prioritizes the plans, programs and strategies that provide the actions for enhancing the communities and ecosystem, valuing the economic system and rehabilitation of environment.

It is designed to prioritize the target outcomes especially the Iloilo City’s LCCAP. These include food security, and water sufficiency which focus on the sustainability of the food besides climate change, concentrating on the rehabilitation and protection of the critical status of the ecosystem, reducing the risks from diseases, focusing on the eco-friendly jobs, prioritizing the conservation of energy, and rehabilitating of energy system infrastructures, and educating individuals about the management of climate change.

If climate change happens through the helping hands of human ignorance and innocence, then alleviating these problem will not work by just only one person or an organization. It needs everyone. Ecosystem is a chain. If one doesn’t work the rest will become affected.

It’s been my pleasure and privilege to write you a letter because I’d like to embrace this opportunity to adhere our concerns as a student. On behalf of my fellow Interfacers. I’d like to congratulate the pub for being the official student publication of Interface Computer College Iloilo Branch and producing three successful issues. Thank you for representing our school in some activities outside ours. It is a big privilege for us, students that there are people who consider our worth and voice out our hidden concerns. The pub is already the official student publication, but then we are burdened of payments just to produce your issues. Moreover, not all our concerns are written on the paper.

I thought marketing our school is your responsibility. Why are we tasked to give flyers of the school every time the school sponsores an activity?

I am hoping that you could answer the query.

EDITORIAL: LET THE DEAD BURY THEIR DEAD

A lot of controversies dive into human interests which baffle the minds and fight the arguments of individuals. Marcos burial is heaven-and-earth allegation which made media men eyes on, especially the president himself is involved.

Marcos marked his own name being the father of “Batas Militar”. Since then, it was petitioned and opposed by many Filipinos that Marcos to be buried in the “Libingan ng mga Bayani” will mark another civil war. The Memorandum of Understanding or MOU is an agreement of Philippine government and the Marcos family in 1992 which allowed the remains of the former president to be buried in the Philippines. Also, MOU is one of the reasons raised by petitioners to augment that Marcos’ remains should not be entombed in the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Marcos was accused of massive human rights violations, stealing the wealth of the country which caused People Power Revolution in 1986. Allowing the past, Marcos’ petition could not be interred in the Libingan for his unreasonably dealings in the past reign.

“Burying Ferdinand E. Marcos alongside our nation’s heroes who fought for our freedom is affront to the thousands of lives tortured and murdered during his reign. A hero does not take away freedom; he campaigns for it and fights for its survival for the sake of others. Laying into rest at the Hereos’ Cemetery is a disdainful act that will send message to the future of our nation–our children–that the world we live in rewards forceful and violent hands,” an opposing citizen explained. Perhaps, President Rodrigo Duterte supports for the burial of the former President. He said that the burial should not be impaired for the fact that Marcos also served the country as a soldier and late president. There’s also a recognition and reparation of Martial Law victims which run under the Republic Act 10368. However, some justices concern that there’s no qualifications whom to consider as a hero interred in the cemetery.

Every man has responsibilities while he lives. The Coterie gains pleasure when someone writes and lends his/her voice. In such simple way, it gives us awareness and motivation to do our best in producing satisfactory issues.

On behalf of The Coterie, I’d like to say thank you for greeting, appreciating us and having such courage for letting us know your concerns.

First, The Coterie is already the official student publication which is also a great success for us, the staffers. We are the group of people that unite for one purpose that is to give and deliver information and at the same time, get and sum up your opinions.

We, the staffers of the Coterie, are just volunteer student writers considering that this publication is also voluntarily in service. We see your worth because we are also students of ICC. I know you are required to pay the amount, but don’t worry, we are not exempted to the rule. We also pay the amount you pay and sometimes lend our personal money just to meet the number of volumes required considering the fact that you’re not the one who pays it. It’s your parent except if you’re working for yourself. We know your parents are happy when they see your face on the paper we produce; we believe you also feel the same, right? On the other hand, we cannot include all your concerns and opinions since the paper is not freedom a wall. Pages are numbered, so it is impossible for us to give you an unlimited space for your concerns. We also screened contributions before we inlcude them.

We see to it these articles are informative as well.

Marketing our school is not the work of the students press nor the students, but we consider it as our responsibility. In your case, you said that you are tasked to give flyers; I think that is your requirement given by your instructors.

As a whole, we have responsibilities to cater and fulfill whether we are student press, officers of the club or an ordinary student. We cannot point someone or somebody to do such thing if we also have to do so.

Have you ever been in a situation wherein you are challenged to prove how strong you are and up until when you still can? If yes, remember what kind of scenario that was. Look back on how hard it was before. Try to remember again those times when you needed to shed volumes of tears to ease the pain and those times when you felt like you’re quitting because you thought you couldn’t overcome it. Forgive me if I let you again remember those things, besides, you can stop reading this and go scan the next page. It is up to you.

Problems indeed, may differ in forms and causes but come with same reason– to shake you off your ground. It can be as simple as solving Discrete Mathematics problems or as complicated as choosing between life and death. Thus, there are times that we choose to run away rather than facing it. We tend to ignore, escape, and find some shortcuts solving it. However finding shortcuts may work in solving Math problems in less time but trust me, not all of life’s challenges have shortcuts. Others need to be solved the hard way. The more we run away from it, the more they get worst, that leads you to do some stupid random things. And out of that depression, you urge to seek for some

comforts. Searching for comforts was not that easy because out of that depression, you feel you can’t think wisely The comfort you thought it was, was not, rather it is just a mask of another problem. Problem can’t be solved by means of creating another one. That was only an example of what I’m trying you to know though I can relate about it.

Considering you are stuck on that kind of situation above, would you still run?

Would you still continue walking on your unwanted path? If so, how long can you run of it? How long can you walk without resting? Sooner or later you will give up not because you are not strong but because you are dumb. When you feel that, try to close your eyes then ask yourself: “When was the last time that I prayed?” Remember that when things get rough and it seems you are alone, you are not. You are only blinded by your depression wherein you can’t see those who are there for you. You have God up there and your loved ones down here. Keep praying, believing and start stepping the right one. Don’t give up everything for one problem alone. It can be a bad day or week for now but not a bad life after all. Try to read again the first line question of my column above. Keep moving forward!

A world full of discourse that anybody can be a victim or villain in another part confuses itself what role to live or how it could have gratified living, satisfying the boldness of the society. What makes one who or who makes another what? Deceiving the truth with one’s own fantasy and dreaming things above imagination of geeks, living the present is such curse mimicking the essence of reality.

We’ve might say past is past. But what if you are living in your past, unconsciously? According to the personality theory of M. Farouk Radwan, whoever or whatever you are, is shaped by past events that you’ve been through in your life. All experiences you’ve been through starting when you were a child are dramatically affecting your life right now even though some are insignificant.

A little experience can shape and reflect us. How much more the bigger ones? As what we’ve been noticed in our society, there are influential men or we can say successful ones, ordinary people who can eat three times a day and support their needs, estranged men (physically, mentally, emotionally), and even criminals. Those people have different experiences which made them, the individuals they are

right now. You and I may belong to one of those. Sometimes, we contributed those experiences to our fellows.

How about you? How about the experiences you’ve imparted to others?

Have you ever thought of that? Some societal ills are too strong to handle.

Wars on drugs, criminalities and even extra-judicial killings alarm the public safety. Whether we want it or not, it cannot be changed. These attempts to stop these ills cannot be redone. We can forget but then, it has already contributed a brick in building who we are.

We should not end up making conclusion. Those people who are addicted to illegal drugs were traumatized by their own history. Waking those panic cells to tremble the nerves, aggravating the past story, ending up in a situation they don’t want to be in. Why not consider it first that illegal drugs can be detected through tests? Why not give rehabilitation? Why not help them overcome those grudges they have? Maybe, there are rehabilitations, but what I am after for is the continuity of the process.

Some are successful because of their experiences but others suffer a lot.

We’re not holding our fate to wrongly judge others or vice versa. There are a lot to be considered first before making an irrevocable conclusion.

Challenges have been trumpeted invoked by Filipinos for the elected President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte, a man with prestige bravery for the modification of the country.

War on crimes and drugs Considering the Philippines has become a narco-state, security forces were implored to have shoot-to-kill orders as mandated by the president.

Even death penalty (by hanging) would be restored in no time.

Own your own Changing the centralized government to a federal system is one of the most adamant hints which would give a large degree of autonomy. This expects to appease Muslim rebels. Also, the key to address inequality is to change an economic model that will be patterned to one of Asia’s biggest rich-poor divides.

New leaders, new enactment of laws This could be favorable to the country or can bring a hand of protest. It is up to the Filipinos to support or find ways to start all over again and repeat the same mistakes.

The standard mentality of a typical student is to finish and find work–yes! It is a positive motivation that would help us, but don’t let that idea stagnate you.

The essence of employment is to earn your wage and get through day by day on your needs and wants in life, but have you ever thought of earning more? We, literally the Filipino people, have this kind of thinking. Graduating, finding work, doing the routine 24/7, having ourselves enjoy things in life “sometimes” in a year, and working our guts out to rank up to a good position to increase daily pay and lessen the work load. Once we have that, we save up for the future.

Now, did we miss something about that kind of routine? It looks like we were just saving up for the future that we intend to retire around sixty and live life peacefully maybe 20 years or 30 years tops. Logically, we spend 60 years of preparation for tranquility, but sadly what happens, is you pay your debts and loans and buy for your medical needs due to old age.

This is the average us, the average Filipino. We sometimes blame the system that we have, but sometimes it is not the system, it is in us. We are the average. We are not all gifted and given the same levels of intellect and talent, but we are the same as human beings.

We are often fascinated how the rich are rich, and the poor are poor.

You want to know why? Because the rich are not the average, they are usually those who have the birth right or those who have foreseen more than just being employed.

Being employed is not a bad idea, but it would be a stepping stone

for progress. Look for a job, improve yourself, and go see what are the good and bad in it. Once you see the faults, then you could find yourself looking for a better idea and room for improvement.

Then when you find one, find your core, what you are good at.

Start early and learn early though not all millionaires earn it automatically, but if you can, then do it. We must go and walk the talk, learn to differentiate luck and hard work.

Let us erase that mentality of looking for a job after graduating. Let us replace it with the idea of finding what is good in us and where we are good at. We often have the dream, but the drive isn’t there due to hesitations. What we need to do is to find how to earn first, find a job but don’t let your dream die down.

Let it be a motivator that would encourage you to live a happy life.

Our lives are mostly affected by our stability and sustainability. If we are suffering from sickness, we cannot do our job, go to class and then end up not finishing it and we still end up poor. So what we must do is to take care of all the stability aspects. Let me give you a reality check for all of us: if we are poor, we cannot buy our medicines, so we end up sick and worst dying. If we are poor we tend to blame the world, blaspheming God for giving us such life. If we are poor, we cannot impress those we like and love because let’s face it, good attitude will not feed a hungry stomach. So what should we do? We should be stable as much as we can. Aim not to be just an employee but an employer and a CEO, dream big and move. You have a life to live not a life to work.

International Tribunal: PH VS. CHINA

hilippines won the South China Sea Arbitration against China. With the full case name “An Arbitration before an Arbitral Tribunal constituted under Annex VII to the 1982 United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea between the Republic of the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China”.

An arbitration case brought by the Republic of the Philippines at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) against the People’s Republic of China concerning the issues in the South

China Sea’s legality of China’s “ninedash line” (also known as nine-dotted line) claim over the South China Sea under the UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea).

Last February 19, 2013, China officially refused to participate in the arbitration. The Tribunal said that China has violated Philippine sovereign rights.

“Having found that certain areas are within the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines, the Tribunal found that China had violated the Philippines’ sovereign rights in its exclusive economic zone by (a) interfering with Philippine fishing and petroleum

exploration, (b) constructing artificial islands and (c) failing to prevent Chinese fishermen from fishing in the zone,” the tribunal statement said.

Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea are still quite threatened at some point because of the presence of the Chinese vessels in the area after the reported attack of Chinese Law Reinforcements to the Filipino fishermen which happened recently.

Nearly 3,000 kids prefer to stay at home every day because they fear to be bullied while half of that number are kids that want to be out of their homes so they can find attention from other people. Hence, not only kids are being bullied but adults as well. A 14-year-old girl carries her baby and people will call her a slut, not knowing that she was raped at the age of 12. A fat guy eats a whole chicken and people will call him a pig. An employee is called stupid by the boss because of incompetence at work, not knowing he’s the only one feeding his family and that he wasn’t able to finish school because of financial incapacity.

Yes, these are some forms of bullying.

In a movie, there are two characters– the protagonist and the antagonist. If the movie is about bullying, the one being bullied is the protagonist and

the bully is the antagonist, but they are both victims. The first victim, usually has the odds in his favor. The protagonist will cry after being bullied, catch other people’s attention, get sympathy and be taken care of.

While on the latter part, the antagonists will be the ones despised by viewers. They will be punished and be hated even more. But are they even asked what reasons they hold for bullying? For pretending to be the ones in-charged by intimidating others and forcing other people to do something, what satisfaction do they get?

However, directors sometimes do not show the effect on both sides because of the perception that the protagonist should be the star of the movie, right?

Because of the crimes we see in televisions, we unconsciously forget that we are being judgemental. Most

people are not strong enough to admit that they need attention. They have a lot of frustrations in life and instead of admitting that they are weak, it’s easier for them to throw anger at other people, or blame others for their own failures. There are people who experienced a bad childhood and had to fight for themselves in order to survive. They were beaten by their fathers for not coming home early after class, or their mothers grounded them for not getting high scores on quizzes.

There are guys that were dumped by their first love and girls that had to clean their rich aunt’s room just to borrow a nice shoes for prom. These sad experiences may lead them to hate others, for the fact that they felt inferior or that the universe seemed to curse them for no reason. They become happy to see others hurt or depressed because they think it’s fair to let others feel what they felt. They believe that by putting fear in others, they will have the best shot at everything.

On the other hand, those who are bullied might be even stronger when they are given special attention and proper guidance. At first, it would be hard for them to recover but as soon as they do, they can turn those embarrassing moments into a motivation to do better and not be beaten up. In the end, the experiences that made

What I really want to instill in the minds of people is to have a better judgement. It’s not always the hero that keeps the movie exciting, if we put ourselves in a villain’s shoe, we might be able to understand why they chose to be bad instead of being heroes. In every person that believes in himself is another person who believed first. Blowing out someone else’s candle doesn’t make yours shine any brighter. If you feel that a person is trying to get on your nerves, that person might need your help instead of your criticism. If the person is hurting others, he might also be hurting himself. We need to stop bullying but not only defending the victims but also by lending a hand to the bully.

We have to let them feel that they aren’t alone, that they don’t need to step unto others to feel good about themselves. Let’s build them up and remind them that they’re worthy. And to the bullies out there, put your insecurities to sleep. Your magical behind your dim world is a lighter one. Delete people from your life who make you feel bad about yourself. Find happier people, pet a dog or watch a funny movie. You’ll be better off.

Games are made by programmers and developed by professional developers abroad after finding it fun, exciting, and intensifying.

The game Clash of Clans was released last August 2, 2012 and it was exclusive for iOS devices only. It was developed and published by Supercell. The game tasks a player to build their own town using the resources gained from attacking other players through the game’s fighting features. The main resources are gold, elixir, and dark elixir. By earning positive reviews and garnering high ratings from many critic, Supercell decided to make Android users happy by allowing the game to be downloaded on Google Play Store for Android devices. Clash of Clans is really a mood-satisfying game which electrifies your nerves to feel intense and excite in both attacking the enemies and defending your town from them. Years passed, the game is being patronized by millions of iOS and Android users worldwide and still being played as of now.

Supercell was on their mini misery when they read and viewed stuff about Pokemon Go in 2015, and I think that’s the reason why the game Clash Royale was made. It is a Clash of Clans-themed game which means the animations and graphics are from Clash of Clans. In this game, players are ranked by level and trophies. The maximum level is thirteen while there are ten arenas in total in the game. A player wins a battle by destroying more towers than the opponent, or by destroying the opponent’s “King’s Tower”, which grants an automatic three “crown” victory. At the start of each game, both players are given a “hand” of four cards from a “deck” of eight cards chosen by the player. Cards can be used to attack and defend. To play the cards, the player must have enough “elixir”; one elixir automatically is being replenished every second. Once a card is placed, a new card from the deck is drawn to the hand. The arena that you are in is determined by the number of “trophies” that you have. Trophies are acquired by winning battles. However, trophies can be deducted by losing battles as well. Players may increase their “level” by “donating” or “upgrading” cards, which gain experience points. Once you level up, the “Arena Towers” and “King’s Tower’s” hit points and damage increase. The amount of experience points necessary to rank up increases with each level. The game is a hit after the release.

Reviews from the users of the game commenting that it is way better than Clash of Clans. Even though that the two have the same developer, people won’t really stop arguing on which is the best one until The Pokémon Go! was released in 2016 and I think it is one of their main misery already. The impact of the release of the Pokemon Go! on the two games is very serious. Many users transferred to Pokemon Go! as their favorites and left Clash of Clans and in tears.

So this is one of the proofs that anything in this world has an end, even our lives. People usually get hurt in love, but they have no idea how fragile a heart of a developer is. As a person, I’ve been through a lot, I tried different things just to satisfy my curiosity, likewise, others also tried but made them disappointed.

It made me realize that indeed, #walangforever does really exist.

About 119 freshman students were officially enrolled for the first semester according to the record of office of The Registrar. BSIT led the record poll with 68 students including the irregu¬lar, followed by those majoring in BSBA and BSOA. The implementation of K- 12 program has greatly affected the number of enrollees for this year. There’s a decrease of enrollees compared to last year’s 268 freshmen.

Habang sakabilang daku, may mga pagbabagong humahamon sa katatagan ng bawat salita na maaaring maisigaw ang isang mahiwagang “change has come” nang isang xenocentrism.

May ikinagisnang tradisyon ang bawat isa. Ito ay ipinaglaban ng mga kanonunonuan na nagging dahilan ng kamatayan ng sandatahan. At sa ngayong dekada, maaaring ikinamatay ng mga mamamayan sa ka dahilanang nagiging hadlang sa kanilang kagustuhan at limitasyon sa kanilang kaligayahan. P: (laughs) People think that I am a mean girl because of my looks but actually, I am not. All I can say is, what you are to me is what I am to you.

M: I am known for my ‘hugot’ lines. I am just drawing things out from the experiences I had then.

[Staffer] How does it feel to bag the titles as the first-ever Mr. and Miss General Education?

P: I am grateful. I am proud of myself because I have done something as big as this.

M: I feel blessed. Actually, this is an answered prayer from God. I am grateful, too, for it (pageant) was my ticket to share with my fellow Interfacers who and what I truly am.

Are you beautiful, I mean, do you see yourself as beautiful as the way you are? As we all know, Philippines is known for its crowned beauty and uniqueness. Have you been in a pageant?

Have you ever wished to stride like Shamsey Supsop’s tsunami walk and be the next Miss Universe like Pia Wurtzbach who tried a lot of times and hailed the most beautiful woman in the entire universe?

The same fate goes with these two title holders who believe great achievements come from small deeds. Princess Edline

Lacson and Manuel Esguerra III are both BSBA students and they were crowned as the first Mr. and Miss General Education 2016.

We set an interview a week after the event.

Both have shared the beautiful ordeals before and after joining and finally winning the coveted titles. Know and get some dose of inspiration from these two beautiful souls.

[Staffer] The pageant was tough. Who motivated you throughout the pageant?

P: My family is very supportive in my chosen endeavor. Also, my special someone even though he was not present during the coronation, but I know he was for me. My biggest source of motivation is God for he enabled me and gave me the capability and strength all throughout.

M: Of course God, my family and my partner (Miss Science). The consistency of the support from my classmates was inevitable.

Their cheer during the coronation event motivated me to give my best even more.

[Staffers] What is that one characteristic which is not above the surface that most

Ipinaglalaban ng iyong utak at bugso ng damdamin ang kinabihasnan. At siya naman ang teknolohiya na magsusubok ng lahat ng paninindigan. Kung saan handing magpabago-bago hangang sa tuluyan mong makasanayan. Ayaw man tanggapin ang katotohan ngunit sa kabilang daku, kakailangin mo siya at tulong niya ay laking pakinabang. May mga bagay na manatiling ethno at may mga bagay ding magiging-xeno. Ba’t pagkatandaan, only change is constant. At mapapatibay pa ang pagkilanlan at mapapabuti ang pangarap kapag marunong kang maging ethno sa kahit xeno at maging xeno sa kahit anong ethno.

P: One thing is, I would like to inspire and encourage them to reach out their highest potentials by engaging in certain student clubs or organizations in our school.

M: As your representative in Science, it is my joy to have a bulletin board about Science and the likes.

[Staffer] Everyone during the pageant was giving their best shot. Why do you think you deserved the title?

P: I deserved the title as Miss General Education because I did my best and I bet I got the potential to be an ambassadress.

M: Just like her, I did my best and I asked God to give me strength in everything.

[Staffer] What is your ultimate ‘hugot’ in life?

P: If you love that person so much, you will never give up on him even if it hurts so much.

M: Do everything with love.

[Staffers] Final words to your supporters, please.

P: Thank you for rooting for me. Your cheers meant a lot.

M: (smiles) Again, thank you for your unwavering support and love. My success is also yours.

Beauty is not just defined only as having a sexy body and glamorous face. It is enveloping simplicity and sound mind. You are the universe; all you need to do is to show what you really got.

Barangay Ginebra celebrates the end of an eight-year title drought after they clinched the Governors’ Cup Championshipagainst Meralco with a buzzer-beater from Justin Brownlee’s triple swished through the rim to win the Game Six. Barangay Ginebra and their frenetic fans shook the arena whenBrownlee drilled the championship-winning triple to end the Gin Kings’ eight-year title drought that gave its “Never Say Die” fans more reasons to celebrate.

After winning, Ginebra players took the time to mingle with their loyal followers, posing for selfies and sign-

ing of championship shirts for all, while some had expressed their gratitude to their supporterson a media release made by various stations.

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), is currently the most popular PBA team that won nine PBA titles making its last victory in 2008.

BLUE DRAGON DANCES FOR GLORY

The phantom noise emerged and a loud gong-like sound burst from the crowd to mount their favourite couples during the Dance Sports Competition at Sta. Teresita Covered Gym held August 2. Yells echoed eerily in the gym when the 6 couples started to bop and clash on the convoluted melodic liniest tempos of Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba and Jive on the dance floor. Rhona Joy Friginal and Caesar Angelo Cellion swayed their hips all the way to the top besting other couples dance prowess.

Strong actions and plays were witnessed by Interfacers during the Hinampang at the Iloilo Sports Complex last August 22-23. The teams fought for the precious points, dug in the ball, spiked to their fullest and set as they played. Team Viridiance triumphed over Blue Dragons in Volleyball Women while Team D’ Golden Spartans won the championship game with Blue Dragons. They had given all their efforts to win every game. Shaira Mae Gencianeo was declared MVP in Volleyball Women with 6 spikes, 8 aces and 1 block that made her team unbeatable while Johnny Ricaplaza was announced as the MVP in Volleyball Men who gave a huge effort with 2 service aces, 12 spikes and 1 block that led his team to a 3-0 set.
