District leaders recently announced Above the Line employee of the month winners! Four honorees were surprised at their work locations with the announcement they were selected. Do you know someone who goes Above the Line? Nominate them!
Crispin Cardona, Custodian, Blanche Moore Elementary School Crispin models our Leadership Definition by empowering minds. He takes immense pride in his work, always bringing a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to every task. His ability to step up, take on additional responsibilities and support multiple campus sites reflects his unwavering dedication. Crispin takes ownership, embraces challenges and leads by example.
Connie Kirkpatrick, Teacher, Grant Middle School Connie models our Leadership Definition by shaping the future. Connie’s deep understanding of the Special Education Program is reflected in her daily practices. She creates a learning environment where students feel encouraged in the learning process, fostering resilience and confidence. She uses data to drive instruction, continuously improving both student outcomes and teaching strategies. Estella Lyas-Thomas, Substitute, Student Support Center Estella models our Leadership Definition by empowering minds. Estella is a true role model, arriving every day with dedication and purpose. Her reliability and dependability inspire both staff and students to take ownership of their actions and strive to be their best. Through her unwavering commitment, she has helped foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and cooperation.
