Cybersecurity alert
We want to remind everyone to be cautious of fraudulent emails that appear to come from your principal or other district administrators requesting money, gift cards, or other forms of payment.
These messages are phishing scams designed to trick you into sending money or revealing personal information. Please note that principals and district administrators will never ask for money or gift cards via email.
Be alert for messages that look familiar but come from addresses outside the district. Scammers often send short, casual messages like “Please contact me” or “Are you available?” to build trust before making their real request.
If you receive such a message:
• Do not respond or click any links.
• Do not purchase or send gift cards.
• Verify the request by contacting your principal directly using a known phone number.
• Delete or report the message by clicking Report as Phishing in Outlook.
• You can forward it to emailalert@ccisd. us.
