Jennifer Brown, Certification Officer, Human Resources

Jennifer modles our Leadership Definition by shaping the future. She partnered with the Office of School Leadership to develop and implement forms to support the District of Innovation amendment that was approved by the board in October. Her contributions brought in more than 50 new associate teachers who will develop hearts and minds of students to ensure their continued success.

Jackie Hannebaum- Substitute, Calk-Wilson Elementary

Jackie models our Leadership Definition by shaping the future. With infectious positivity, she sets the tone for a positive learning environment. Her commitment to positivity leaves a lasting impact on both academic and social success.

Stephanie Contreras, Assistant Principal, Veterans Memorial High School

Stephanie models our Leadership Definition by embodying the mission and vision. Stephanie has designed, organized and implemented a series of freshman seminar curriculum lessons to prepare students for Power Hour. Going above and beyond, she personally developed the lessons, selected teachers and student mentors to ensure a successful program.

Tina Saenz, Rise Math Teacher, Adkins Middle School

Tina models our Leadership Definition by serving with intent and purpose. Mrs. Saenz brings a unique approach to math instruction, offering fresh perspectives that enhance student engagement and understanding. She views her role as shaping the whole student.

Berlanga Elementary reveals new library

The newly renovated Berlanga library is a great place for students to explore through reading! Special thanks to the Education Service Center, Region 2 for hosting the library reveal. The library at Berlanga Elementary School is part of the LEARN IT grant funding that was awarded to ESC, Region 2.
