My school day
We have many different subjects, for example English, Science, Maths, Geography and History, Music, I.T, P.E, Catalan, Spanish and Tutorship. Some of them are more difficult than the others. Maths , for example. There’s a lot of things we need to do: adding, deducing, multiplying, dividing, etc.
And the classrooms have a different structure, but all of them have the same things. First of all, in the middle of the classrooms there are some green chairs and tables for students and in front of the tables there is the teacher’s table and the blackboard. The classrooms also have windows and this allows a lot of light in.

CLASSMATES In my classroom, my classmates come from different schools: Six students come from Flama School. Six students come from Montserrat (St. Salvador de Guardiola) School. Four students come from La SÊquia School. Three students come from Paidos School. Three students come from Pere Ignasi Puig (Xup) School. Two students come from Bages School. Two students come from Pare Alguè School. One student comes from Torres i Amat School. One student comes from La Vedruna School. One student comes from St. Ignasi School. One student comes from Joan Maragall School.
The majority of students in my class live in Manresa (fifteen students), but some of them live in other towns or villages, such as St. Salvador de Guardiola (five students) or Santpedor and St. Joan (one student) Most of my classmates come from Manresa, but some come from different parts of Catalonia (two) or Spain (one). Finally, six come from a different country.

Ricardo Alcalde He tall, he’s slim. He’s got blue eyes and grey hair. He’s got a big face. Ricardo usually wears a shirt, jeans and a pair of shoes. His favourite film is “Memorias de África”; he has seen it five times. He likes all the good music and he’s got 200 CDs. His favourite dish is stew beef and his favourite food is cod. He eats fruit every day. He eats in a restaurant once every three months. He isn’t on a diet. He gets up at 6:30 and he goes to bed between 12:00 and 1:00 at the weekend and at 11:00 on school days. Ricardo likes going to school and he likes his school. His time table could be better. He does a lot of housework. He doesn’t cook in his house. He’s got two children. He spends a lot of time with his family.
Imma Hernández Imma isn’t tall nor short. She’s well-built. Her hair is medium-length and curly. Her eyes are brown. Her face is round and she wears glasses. She likes films. Her favorite music style is rock and she has lot of CDs of different kinds of music. Her favorite dish is fish, her favorite food is fruit and her favorite drink is water. She isn’t on a diet. She gets up at 7:00 if she goes to school or at 8:00 at the weekend. Imma likes coming to school every day. She likes her school and she also likes her time table. She usually doesn’t do too much house work. She usually cooks in her house. She has children and she lives with her family. She goes on holidays twice a year.

Maria is tall. She's well-built. Her hair is wavy and short. She has got small brown eyes. Her face is very long. She often wears glasses. Her favourite film is “Memòries d'Àfrica” and she has seen it three times. Her favourite music style is Pop. She has got 200 CDs. Her favourite dish is vegetables, her favourite food is fruit and her favourite drink is water. She eats in a restaurant eight times a year. She isn't on a diet. She likes coming to school every day and she likes her school. She teaches 2 subjects: Catalan and French and she's teaching 100 students. Maria does all the housework. She has two children and she lives with her family. She and her family go on holidays when they can.

Water is her favourite drink and she loves sweets. She likes pizza but she doesn’t like cola, she loves sweet desserts. She eats fruit every day. She hardly ever eats crisps and she eats in a restaurant once a month.
Her favourite students are students of 1st ESO. She prepares lessons at home and she prepares lessons at the weekend. She corrects tests at home and at school and in the afternoon. She prepares her lessons during the weekend. She doesn’t like doing the housework but she cooks in her home. She has two children and she lives with her family.
Teresa Torra Teresa is neither tall nor short. She is medium-height. She is slim. Her hair is short, straight and black. She has got brown eyes. She has got a small long face. Teresa usually wears jeans and jumpers. She is wearing a pair of black shoes now.
Teresa’s favorite film is “Schindler’s list”. She has seen it several times. Her favorite music band is the Beatles. She has got a lot of CDs. She often meets her friends. She rides her bicycle in summer. She has breakfast at 9, she has lunch at 2, and she has dinner at 10. Her favorite dish is rice and her favorite drink is apple juice. She likes sweets and pizza. She likes cola. She doesn’t like sweet desserts. She eats fruit every day. She hardly ever eats crisps. She sometimes eats in a restaurant. She isn’t on a diet, but she can’t eat milk fat.
She gets up at 6:45 and she goes to bed between 12:00 and 1:00. She doesn’t watch much TV, it depends on the programme. She spends as much time as she can with her family. Teresa likes coming to school every day. She likes the school and her timetable. She sometimes has some free time between lessons. She teaches Catalan. She is teaching about 60 students of 2nd batxillerat. She hasn’t a favourite student. All of them are.
Teresa prepares lessons and corrects tests at home in the evening and at the weekend. She does the homework that she tells the students. At home she shares the cooking. She has two children. She lives with her family. She goes on holiday at Christmas and in summer.
Aida (school bar) Aida is a little tall; she is slim and she has got long black straight hair. She has got big brown eyes. She has got a long face and she doesn’t wear glasses. She usually wears jeans, a jumper and trainers.
The bar sells crisps, pizzas... for students and teachers.
Her favourite film is “Planta 4” she has seen it four times. Her favourite music style his pop and she has many CDs. She often goes with friends but she doesn’t ride a bike. She usually has breakfast at nine o’clock, lunch at one o’clock and dinner at ten o’clock. Her favourite food is fried eggs with potatoes and her favourite drink is water. She likes sweets, pizza, cola and sweet desserts. She sometimes eats at restaurants.
She wakes up at six o’clock and goes to a bed at 12 o’clock. She usually watches TV before going to bed. She spends a lot of time with her family. One of the interesting things about our new school is that we can meet older students . They wear the coolest clothes and fashion accessories and complements . Most students wear casual clothes because they like being comfortable. They usually wear a T-shirt , a pair of jeans and trainers.
Some of the older students are really trendy , that is , they wear the latest fashion. You can see that in their clothes , but also in their accessories. Some of them wear earrings or other types of piercings. Some girls even have nosestuds.
We are very young to follow the fashion, but we can see the kind of clothes that are “in�. For example, boys like to wear baggy trousers and long-sleeved sweatshits. Some of them like wearing a cap on their head, but the teachers don't like it.
Girls can also wear the coolest complements!! For example there is a girl in my class who always wears a headband . She doesn’t like wearing the kind of clothes other students wear , so she has a black hoodie , a yellow belt and white trousers. She’s so original!
Right now I'm not really worried about my clothes, but I like seeing different people who wear different clothes, who have different hairstyles and who want to look cool.
Casual Clothes In my high school, students wear the coolest clothes and fashion accessories and complements. Most students wear casual clothes because they like being comfortable.
