Dear Valued Client, The asbestos removal & demolition is now complete, with the party wall having undergone temporary works and permanent weather protection. Crushed concrete from the demolition (which can be seen in the pictures) will be used across the site as the base layer to the pathways of the central boulevard, external pathways and courtyard hard landscaped areas. This is typical of modern construction methods where materials are recycled wherever possible, rather than the adverse environmental impact of having large trucks taking materials away to land fill. The builders will now proceed with excavation to lay the building's concrete foundations and retaining walls, as well as the underground drainage and service duct systems. Construction remains on schedule for end-2020.
