The Do It With Heart campaign builds on the transformational investments already made in Cor Jesu’s campus and community.
In 2022, after extensive planning and stakeholder input, we finalized a Strategic Plan to guide the school through 2027. This plan focuses on expanding access to education, nurturing students’ personal and spiritual growth, fostering a joyful and enriching academic culture and strengthening community connection. It also drives our Campus Master Plan, ensuring that our buildings, grounds and facilities evolve with student needs and continue to advance our mission.
In accordance with the Strategic Plan and the Campus Master Plan, we conducted a feasibility study which provided the data to support the Do It With Heart campaign.
DISCERNMENT AND ACCOMPANIMENT ON THE JOURNEY

JOYFUL,
GROWING OUR ENDOWMENT
$1.5 million +
ENHANCING OUR OUTDOOR ATHLETIC FACILITIES
$8.5 million + +

One of our Strategic Plan goals is to make a Cor Jesu education accessible to all who are a good fit. Growing our Endowment allows us to open doors for young women who might not otherwise have access to a Catholic education. As graduates, we know the impact of Cor Jesu and want others to have that same opportunity to use their gifts to make a difference in the world.”
— Sister Susan Marie Krupp, ASCJ ‘76, President of Cor Jesu Academy
Our endowment serves Cor Jesu by providing essential funding for the growing tuition assistance needs. A robust endowment provides our community with a permanent, stable source of income that protects against economic uncertainty and allows us to be responsive to the need for financial aid.
We believe every young woman committed to success deserves the chance to thrive at Cor Jesu. That is why we provide meaningful tuition assistance, ensuring access to a transformative education is never limited by finances.
91 students receive $10,000 or more annually.
More than 50% of Cor Jesu students receive tuition assistance.
[Tuition assistance] doesn’t just help me pay for school. It gives me the chance to fully enjoy everything Cor Jesu has to offer and grow into a confident, involved and caring person”.
— Kaitlyn ‘28

Our endowment has now grown to $14 million, strengthening our financial foundation. With our current endowment size, the annual draw covers only about 25% of need-based tuition assistance needs. The remaining support comes from Cor Jesu’s Charger Fund, foundation funding and the general operating budget. Our long-term goal is to grow the endowment so that a greater share of tuition assistance can be funded annually, freeing up Charger Fund dollars to invest in other critical priorities.
To help meet the anticipated needs of our community, our goal is to achieve an $18 million endowment balance by 2028.
The Do It With Heart campaign will help us bridge the gap.

TUITION ASSISTANCE GROWTH (2010-2026)

At Cor Jesu, athletics are about so much more than competition. They’re about character, teamwork and heart. Our students give their all on the field, and it’s time their facilities match their dedication. Investing in these spaces means investing in their growth, confidence and future.
— Liz Biedenstein, Athletic Director
At Cor Jesu, we view athletics as a true extension of the classroom, where young women are empowered to develop leadership, teamwork, resilience and other essential traits that enrich their academic journeys.
More than 50% of students play field sports.
Our Cor Jesu Chargers excel at the state level in multiple sports and earn recognition for their character and spirit. However, our facilities no longer meet student needs, forcing teams like soccer, field hockey, track and softball to practice or compete off campus. These limitations strain logistics, reduce attendance and impact athletic performance, school spirit and our sense of community.
Cor Jesu had 37 state appearances in the last five years.
Winning back-to-back soccer championships with my best friends during my first two years has been a dream come true. Being part of this Charger legacy has filled my time at Cor Jesu with pride, excitement and unforgettable memories. Sharing the highs and lows with my teammates has shaped me into a better person and player on and off the field. With two years still ahead, I’m excited to keep striving to be my best and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Charger athletics.”
— Maddie DiMaria ‘27
568 students impacted by proposed enhancements.

We envision spaces where students can seamlessly transition from classroom to field, fostering a balanced and enriching daily experience. Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, every student should feel a sense of belonging and pride to be a Charger. When we celebrate our teams together, we strengthen the sense of community that benefits every student.
To elevate our position in the competitive St. Louis landscape and reflect the excellence of our athletic programs, Cor Jesu is committed to enhancing and expanding our athletic facilities. These upgrades will give our student-athletes access to top-tier facilities that rival those of their peers, sustaining Charger success across all athletic programs.

Provide reliable, high-quality fields that allow our teams to practice and compete on campus. Enable true “home games” and allow for the experience of authentic home field advantage.
Maximize space usage to accommodate lacrosse, field hockey and softball on one field.
Reduce reliability on outside rentals and save on rental fees.
• Our students are provided a more engaging, holistic and inclusive experience.
• Our fields and facilities reflect a modern and competitive athletics program.

• Young women in the St. Louis region have access to a Cor Jesu education, regardless of their background.
• Our students and families can succeed and thrive within our community.
• We take the next steps towards completing our Strategic and Campus Master Plans.
• We build a strong foundation for Cor Jesu’s response to future needs.
• Enhancements open doors for rental income and partnerships with other schools.

We take great pride in the dedication and support of the Cor Jesu family. Like us, you believe a Cor Jesu education prepares students for a meaningful life that is faithfilled, academically rigorous, creatively engaging and rooted in community.

By choosing to Do It With Heart, you invest in young women and sustain the excellence that defines our school. Together, we aim to raise more than $10 million to make this vision a reality, and we invite you to be part of this journey.
