QUELQUES MOTS

Je suis ravi de vous présenter mon portfolio. Actuellement étudiant en deuxième année de master, cet ouvrage reflète mon travail, mes expériences et les influences qui ont façonné mon parcours, au cours duquel j’ai pu expérimenter diverses approches en France ainsi qu’à l’étranger. Motivé par une forte curiosité ainsi que par l’envie d’apprendre, mes travaux s’inspirent de mes différentes rencontres.

Au-delà de la création d’espaces qualitatifs, l’architecture a le pouvoir d’offrir à chacun un monde où s’épanouir. Je défends une architecture tournée vers l’humain, en résonnance avec son environnement. Optimiste et axée sur les échanges, elle vise à inspirer et à rendre notre monde un peu plus beau. C’est ce qui me pousse chaque jour à m’investir dans ce domaine passionnant.

I am delighted to present my portfolio to you. Currently a secondyear master’s student, this work reflects my efforts, experiences, and the influences that have shaped my journey, during which I have explored various approaches both in France and abroad. Driven by a strong curiosity and a desire to learn, my work is inspired by my diverse encounters.

Beyond creating quality spaces, architecture has the power to offer everyone a world in which to thrive. I advocate for humancentered architecture, resonating with its environment. Optimistic and focused on exchanges, it aims to inspire and make our world a little more beautiful. This is what motivates me to invest in this exciting field every day.

Cette habitation familiale se distingue par l’utilisation de poteaux en bois moisés qui dialoguent harmonieusement avec des écrans de bois à claire-voie. Les espaces intimes sont accessibles par des circulations situées derrière des bibliothèques et des écrans de bois, créant une gradation de l’intimité. Ce sentiment est renforcé par des différences de niveaux entre les espaces du foyer.

GRADATION DE L’INTIME

This family housing project features chamfered wooden posts inspired by louvered wooden screens, creating a distinctive aesthetic. Access to the private spaces is ingeniously provided through discreet circulation paths hidden behind bookshelves or wooden screens, fostering a sense of privacy and tranquility. The gradual transition between spaces is emphasized by carefully placed steps, enhancing the feeling of intimacy throughout the home.

Dans un site de densification urbaine, 20 nouvelles unités d’habitation ont été créées. L’espacement entre les appartements et les zones de circulation verticale facilite l’intégration de verdure au cœur du bâtiment. En complément des résidences, une librairie-café, un atelier de réparation de vélos et une buanderie enrichissent le projet. Chaque unité d’habitation est disposée de manière stratégique pour favoriser la ventilation, assurant ainsi un flux d’air optimal et une luminosité accrue. De plus, la multiplication des terrasses partagées non seulement améliore la perméabilité du bâtiment, mais encourage également un sentiment d’appartenance à une communauté.

In an urban infill site, 20 new housing units have been thoughtfully created. The deliberate spacing between the apartments and vertical circulation areas facilitates the integration of greenery at the building’s core. Complementing the residential aspect, a bookstore-cafe, bicycle repair workshop, and laundry room enrich the project’s offerings. Each housing unit is strategically arranged to promote cross-ventilation, ensuring optimal airflow and comfort. Furthermore, the multiplication of spacious common terraces not only enhances the building’s permeability but also encourages a sense of community ownership.

La conception de ces kiosques de marché est basée sur un système de construction modulaire et standardisé. Chaque module rectangulaire est conçu pour accueillir une activité, permettant une utilisation polyvalente. Ces modules peuvent être agencés de manière flexible pour créer des kiosques personnalisés, s’adaptant aux besoins uniques de chaque commerçant. De plus, des auvents peuvent être déployés pour relier les kiosques, créant ainsi des zones ombragées qui améliorent la fonctionnalité globale et l’unité visuelle de l’espace de marché.

The design of the market shops is rooted in a modular and standardized construction system. Each rectangular module is tailored to accommodate a specific activity, allowing for versatile usage. These modules can be flexibly arranged to create personalized kiosks, adapting to the unique needs of each merchant. Moreover, canopies can be extended to interconnect the kiosks, forming shaded areas that enhance the overall functionality and aesthetic appeal of the market space.

La structure poteaupoutre offre une liberté de combinaison permettant des agencements polyvalents. Cette initiative a suscité une réflexion technique sur l’architecture modulaire et éphémère, incitant à des solutions innovantes et à des considérations pour les futurs projets de conception.

Designing a public space - A WALK AT THE MARKET

Geneva, Switzerland

Ce projet intègre une diversitée d’activités publiques dans un paysage urbain existant. En utilisant le bois comme matériau principal, la halle du marché est conçu comme une promenade surélevée ornée d’étalages. Sa configuration en forme de boucle entoure un espace modulaire couvert au centre, invitant les habitants à personnaliser et à utiliser cette espace abrité à leur guise. Caractérisée par des poteaux en bois moisés, la structure dégage une esthétique légère, poreuse et éphémère. Sa forme distinctive encadre non seulement des vues sur les façades historiques, mais offre également un espace serein pour la contemplation, avec vue sur l’étendue du lac.

This project seamlessly integrates a diverse range of public activities into an existing urban landscape. Utilizing wood as the primary material, the market hall is ingeniously designed as a raised walkway adorned with stalls for markets. Its loop-shaped configuration encloses a modular covered space at its center, inviting inhabitants to personalize and utilize the sheltered area as they see fit. Characterized by chamfered wooden posts, the structure exudes a light, porous, and ephemeral aesthetic. Its distinctive shape not only frames views of the historic façade but also provides a serene space for contemplation, overlooking the tranquil expanse of the lake.

À la fois ludiques et fonctionnels, les différents espaces sont connectés par un parcours qui entrelace les environnements intérieurs et extérieurs, chacun offrant une ambiance unique. De l’extérieur, le design du bâtiment offre une lecture claire des differentes activités et se veut être l’échos du dynamisme de Tokyo.

Vibrant, coloré, le pôle culturel fait échos au rythme de certains quartiers tokoïtes. Le batiment repose sur un socle en béton accueillant les locaux associatifs. Sur ce socle émerge une grille dans laquelle s’imbriquent les diverses activités.

Vibrant and colorful, the cultural center resonates with the pulsating rhythm of Tokyo’s diverse neighborhoods. Resting upon a sturdy concrete base that houses associative premises, the building’s striking design emerges in the form of a dynamic grid.

Implanté dans une pente, le complexe propose une expérience architecturale inspirée des impressions spatiales vécues en plongée. Le parcours suis une rigole aménagée et abouti sous la surface de l’eau dans un laboratoire sous-marin. Du bois au béton, les pavillons rythmant le parcours font face à l’océan en s’inscrivant dans le site.

Nestled on a slope, the diving complex offers an architectural voyage inspired by the spatial sensations encountered during diving excursions. Guided by this inspiration, the journey culminates in an underwater laboratory, where visitors can immerse themselves in an awe-inspiring aquatic realm, completing an architectural and experiential odyssey.

Perched amidst the rugged rocks, a home appears to serenely rest. Gazing out towards the endless horizon, this enigmatic house emerges from the very stones, nestled within a landscape shaped by the natural chaos of its surroundings, creating a captivating interplay of levels and forms.

Le plan valorise les divers espaces créatifs : la chambre et le studio bénéficient d’une généreuse hauteur sous plafond, offrant un environnement inspirant. Au cœur de la maison se trouve un espace d’exposition, spécialement conçu pour mettre en valeur la céramique. La lumière naturelle traverse des lames d’acier corten, créant une lueur qui accentue la beauté des œuvres exposées.

Emphasizing the importance of creative spaces, the bedroom and studio boast ample ceiling height, providing an inspiring environment for the creative process to unfold. At the heart of the house lies a central exhibition space, thoughtfully designed to showcase ceramics amidst an ambiance of artistic allure. Here, natural light filters through corten steel blades, casting a mesmerizing glow that accentuates the beauty of the displayed artwork.

Au sein de la fondation, dans les bois de Drummondville, s’érige un abri ouvert à tous. Les marches se dirigeant vers la cime des arbres offrent aux artistes un nouvel espace de représentation au cœur de la forêt. De sa sous-face se dégagent des effluves d’un bon repas et les rires des convives, invitant à découvrir une table bien fournie.

In the woods of Drummondville, nestled within the foundation, stands an inviting shelter open to all. Ascending steps lead artists to a unique space amidst the treetops, providing a new platform for creative expression in the heart of the forest. Below, the aroma of delicious meals wafts through the air, while the laughter of guests beckons exploration of a well-appointed table.

Le plan repose sur un volume central permettant de créer une double hauteur généreuse dans la salle à manger. Le bâtiment s’intègre dans la pente et s’ouvre sur la canopée.

The plan revolves around a central volume, fostering a spacious doubleheight atmosphere in the dining room. Designed to seamlessly blend with the slope, the building harmoniously integrates into its surroundings, while embracing the canopy above, inviting the natural beauty of the environment into its space.

Un noyau modulable compose l’espace intérieur. Un ensemble de strates permet de faire fluctuer l’ouverture sur la forêt. Les tables sont disposées autour de ce volume central, offrant un lieu de rassemblement pour les gastronomes désireux de déguster et d’acheter des produits locaux

The interior space is composed of a modular core, facilitating flexibility in design. A series of layers enable adjustments in the openings towards the forest, creating a dynamic connection with the surrounding environment. Tables are arranged around this central volume, providing a gathering place for gourmets eager to sample and purchase local products.

Revisit Strasbourg’s skyline: between verticality and neighborhood life

L’atelier Rhénan se résume en la création d’un complexe comportant une ou plusieurs tours sur les rives du Rhin. Le site de l’atelier est caractérisé par de nombreux flux. Point de transition entre la France et l’Allemagne, le projet se veux être un point canalysant les échanges et être une nouvelle vision de la frontière.

Le projet se caractérise par la conception d’un ensemble de tours dessinant une skyline strasbourgeoise. Une multitudes de programmes vient donc rythmer ce nouveau quartier : des restaurants, des commerces, des studios d’artistes, des locaux associatifs, une médiathèque universitaire, des laboratoires agro-urbains et des halles de marché.

The Rhénan Workshop can be described as the creation of a complex building with one or more towers on the banks of the Rhine. The project site is characterized by numerous flows. Serving as a transition point between the Loucheur City and the Rhine, between France and Germany, the project aims to be a central point concentring these exchanges and embodying the new vision of the border.

The project is caracterized by the design of a cluster of towers outlining the Strasbourg skyline. A multitude of programs punctuate this new neighborhood: restaurants, shops, artist studios, community spaces, a university library, agro-urban laboratories, and a market hall.

Ce document est une perspective sensible des futures halles situées dans le socle d’une des tour. A proximité direct d’un arrêt de tram, celles-ci se veulent être un point de rassemblement pour les habitants du quartier, autour de la vente et de la consommation de produits locaux. Ce document graphique retranscrire le nouveau dynamisme du quartier dont les halles constituent le point de rencontre et de flux.

This document offers an insightful glimpse into the future market hall nestled within the base of one of the towers. Strategically positioned near a tram stop, its purpose is to serve as a vibrant gathering place for the local community, fostering the exchange and enjoyment of regional produce. Through captivating visuals, it vividly portrays the evolving dynamism of the neighborhood, showcasing market halls as central hubs of activity and interaction, where residents converge to engage in the bustling rhythm of daily life.

Afin d’empêcher l’étalement urbain, en complément de la création de bandes actives en lisière, la redynamisation du centre-ville et la création d’habitats collectifs permet de soulager la pression exercée sur les parcelles agricoles.

To combat urban sprawl, we can revitalize the city center and promote collective housing, alongside creating active strips on the outskirts. This approach alleviates pressure on agricultural land, typically earmarked for single-family homes.

Un re-dessin du parcellaire existant permet d’offrir des ilots d’habitations perméables aux flux doux. Le secteur est alors traversé d’un ensemble de venelles piétonnes, et cyclables d’Est en Ouest mettant en relation des deux espaces naturels.

By redesigning existing land parcels, we can create permeable residential blocks conducive to soft-flow traffic. This area is intersected by a network of pedestrian and bicycle alleys, linking the two natural spaces from East to West.

AXONOMETRIE

Le Riedgraben, ruisseau de Kehl, joue un rôle essentiel en reliant Kehl à sa périphérie. En revitalisant les espaces verts le long de ses rives et en réduisant la minéralisation, nous établissons une artère verdoyante, colonne vertébrale du projet. La reconversion des zones vacantes permet la construction de nouveaux logements dont les rez-dechaussée accueillent des services dynamisant la vitalité du quartier.

The Riedgraben, Kehl’s stream, serves as a vital link between Kehl and its outskirts. By revitalizing the green spaces along its banks and minimizing mineralization, we establish a verdant artery, a cornerstone of the project. Repurposing vacant areas enables the construction of new housing, with ground floors hosting additional services to invigorate neighborhood vitality.

En tant qu’étudiant en architecture, j’ai récemment pu concevoir et de réaliser des installations artistiques éphémères, et cela m’a permis de découvrir de nouvelles façons d’explorer la créativité architecturale et artistique.

The creation of ephemeral architecture offers architects a unique platform to engage with the public in a direct and immersive manner. These installations serve as an invaluable opportunity to interact with a diverse audience, showcasing the significance of architecture and design in our everyday lives.

Entre le tronc des arbres brille une capsule argentée.

Nul ne sait si elle a été emportée par le vent ou les flots, ni de quelle époque elle est issue. Cependant, lorsque l’on s’y loge en son cœur, on peut y admirer la lumière au travers du feuillage et y écouter le vent dans les branchages.

Amidst the tree trunks gleams a silver capsule, its origin and era shrouded in mystery, whether borne by wind or waves. Yet, nestled within its confines, one discovers a sanctuary to behold the dancing light and listen to the whispers of the wind through the foliage.

Les collages artistiques sont utiles pour transmettre une vision de l’architecture ou une intention de projet de manière créative et visuelle. Chaque collage devient une expression poétique, un moyen d’insuffler une intention singulière au projet, ouvrant les portes à une exploration sans contraintes des idées. Dans cette histoire non linéaire, naissent des idées nouvelles et innovantes, empreintes d’une certaine poésie.

Here we can observe the significant expansion of industries in Kehl. The segregation between social classes is becoming increasingly noticeable, leading to wealthy individuals distancing themselves from the slums.

The impact of climate change is visible during flood season, and it disproportionately affects poorer populations compared to the wealthiest. Industries are occupying more and more space, encroaching on fields.

As a result, the city has become a hazardous place where the rich exploit the most vulnerable. Delinquency, prostitution, and drug dealing have become increasingly prevalent, and disparities and segregation have reached their peak.
