UNITED IN PURPOSE
Dear Partners and Supporters,
As we celebrate CoreGiving’s fifth year in operation, we are more united than ever in our shared purpose: to end child hunger. This milestone offers us an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and how far we still have to go. Through the collective strength of our community, we have gained deeper clarity about our unique role in this movement and how we can best contribute to a world where every child has access to the food and nutrition they need to thrive.
Our community is the heart of CoreGiving a group of individuals and organizations dedicated to caring for our neighbors and strengthening our local communities. This year, we have made significant strides together: surpassing our fundraising goal, expanding CoreGiving Day, enabling more meals through grants and volunteer efforts, and deepening our partnerships with hunger-relief organizations. We’ve also forged new connections—each one enhancing our collective impact in the fight against child hunger.
Hunger in America remains a pressing issue. For too many families, incomes are stretched thin and one unexpected expense or emergency can leave them struggling to meet their basic needs. For millions,
including those devastated by natural disasters like hurricanes Helene and Milton, livelihoods can be changed in an instant, adding to the urgency of our work. In the face of these challenges, CoreGiving’s commitment to alleviating hunger remains steadfast.
Our vision is clear: we believe in the power of collective action to drive lasting impact. We can make a real difference when we come together with a shared sense of purpose. Our journey is well underway, and we’re excited to build on our strong foundation, driven by a deep commitment to achieving meaningful progress in the years ahead.
Thank you for your generous contributions of time and resources. Together, we are proving that when we are united in purpose, there is no limit to the impact we can make.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Bridget O’Connell Executive Director, CoreGiving

A COLLECT IVE CALL TO ACT ION
OUR MISSION
Nearly 14 million children in the U.S. face hunger, according to the USDA’s annual food security report. That’s 1 in 5 children whose families lack consistent access to enough food for active, healthy living.
CoreGiving brings together a unique network of companies, foundations and individuals, uniting their strengths and resources to drive meaningful change. By harnessing the collective power of this network, we amplify our impact to address hunger on a larger scale and increase access to healthy, affordable food for more families.

We combat child hunger through grants and volunteerism, partnering with hunger relief organizations to ensure children and their families have the nourishment they need to thrive.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who has joined our movement and helped it grow. Your support has already made a lasting impact, and together, we’re excited for the incredible possibilities ahead to fight hunger and ensure children have the nourishment they need to reach their full potential.

OUR VISION
We believe in the power of collective action to drive lasting impact. We aim to unite a global community of businesses, partners, and supporters to multiply our impact in the fight against child hunger. Through shared purpose and the strength of scale, we envision a future where every child has the nourishment they need to thrive.

LEADERSHIP PARTNERS
Through their generous support, our leadership partners make it possible for 100% of others’ donations to go directly toward funding meals through our hunger-relief partners. By covering our operating expenses, they enable us to focus entirely on expanding our impact.
We prioritize communities where their employees and customers live and work, often forming charitable partnerships based on local insights and recommendations—ensuring that our collective efforts create lasting change where it’s needed most.

BLACKSTONE GIVES BACK CHALLENGE
CoreGiving was honored to earn second place in the Blackstone Gives Back Challenge, a competition where employees and for the first time, portfolio company CEOs pitched on behalf of nonprofits for grant funding.
Nominated by our leadership partners, Alice Carr, CEO of April Housing, and Luke Petherbridge, CEO of Link Logistics, took the stage at the 2024 Blackstone CEO Conference, presenting CoreGiving’s mission to an audience of over 200 global leaders. Their compelling pitch secured a $125,000 grant, further fueling our fight against child hunger.

CoreGiving exemplifies the gold standard for how companies and their networks can unite to drive meaningful change. Their collective giving model not only provides critical hunger relief but also fosters a deep sense of purpose and engagement across organizations.
It’s inspiring to see the impact they’ve achieved by bringing business and philanthropy together in such a powerful way.

4TH ANNUAL COREGIVING DAY
CoreGiving Day marked a milestone as we expanded our impact worldwide. With international volunteers joining for the first time, participation grew by 39% and partnerships with hunger-relief organizations increased by 29%. Together, we served in 17 more cities across six additional countries, increasing our vital support to communities and families in need.
Additionally, five more companies united through CoreGiving Day, reinforcing the power of collective action to fight hunger on a global scale.
CoreGiving Day has been a key part of efforts to end hunger through our Community Impact initiatives. In 2024, it was exciting to see our QTS teams in England and the Netherlands come together on CoreGiving Day with their U.S. counterparts, united across geographies in a shared mission to fight hunger. These initiatives strengthen our global culture of giving and amplify the collective impact we can have in the communities where we live, work, and operate.

Supporting CoreGiving has always been important to me, but this year reinforced just how critical our collective work is. Preparing our properties and rescheduling our local CoreGiving Day event due to Hurricane Milton was a powerful reminder of why we give and serve. When disaster strikes, communities rely on food banks, and I’m proud to be part of a company and a cause that step up when it matters most.

DISASTER RELIEF
In late September, Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region, causing widespread devastation across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. MANNA FoodBank, the first and only food bank in Feeding America's network to experience a total loss, saw its two warehouses, equipment, food, IT infrastructure, and revenue-generating Reclamation Center wiped out. Less than two weeks later, Hurricane Milton brought further destruction to Florida.
In the wake of disasters, financial contributions are the most efficient way to enable local organizations to quickly support affected communities. CoreGiving was proud to make its first donation to MANNA FoodBank in western North Carolina and to provide financial support to our long-time partners across Florida, who either assisted local families directly or supplied resources to their peer food banks to distribute food, water, and other essentials.

Luci Smith, Link Logistics
Through strong partnerships with hunger-relief organizations, CoreGiving helps ensure that children and families have access to nutritious food when they need it most. From after-school and weekend meal programs to in-school markets, summer meals, and community food distributions, our partners provide critical support that nourishes futures and strengthens communities.

Harnessing the power of collaboration,
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank runs Food Bank University, a program designed to strengthen its network of more than 450 nonprofit partners that distribute food directly to individuals and families. Through education and training, the program equips these organizations with the tools and resources needed to serve their communities effectively and efficiently, enhancing the collective fight against hunger across San Diego County.

Produce Pals, a unique partnership between City Harvest and New York City schools, combines nutrition and culinary education with free produce distribution. This initiative empowers students and families with the knowledge and ingredients to create healthy, affordable meals at home.
"We make sure the food from City Harvest goes straight to our families, which goes straight to our students, so they're getting that nutrition," said the principal of PS 177 Elementary School in Brooklyn. is another way that our school can come full circle really help our families, not just with education, but support their food needs at home."
Blessings in a Backpack provides children who and reduced-price school meals with bags of -friendly food to sustain them over the year, analysts and interns from Blackstone portfolio companies assembled 2,000 bags for Chicago, while IDG team members came together Day to pack another 2,000 bags for children community near Boston. Along with healthy food, each a handwritten note from a volunteer, reminding community cares about them.

Food For Free’s School Markets program brings fresh, nutritious food directly to families through farmers market-style pop-up events held during afterschool pickup. In fiscal year 2024, the organization hosted 91 markets at public schools across Cambridge and Somerville, MA, making it easier for families to access fresh produce, eggs, and pantry staples.
“Parents and caregivers appreciate being able to access free food for their families while picking children up at school, without requiring an extra stop on their way home,” said Jessica Cantin, CEO of Food For Free.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository’s Lunch Bus brings free, nutritious meals to children and teens across the city and suburbs throughout the summer. When school is out, many families face increased grocery costs without the free breakfast and lunch most students receive at school. This makes it harder to keep up with their children’s nutritional needs. Magaly, a mother of two who works nights to support her family, knows this challenge firsthand.
"Sometimes it's still hard to afford food," she said. "That's why we come to the Lunch Bus. We really appreciate the healthy food."
