r u o y n e p O FOSTER PARENTS ARE NEEDED IN MEDICINE HAT AND SURROUNDING AREA. McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association is looking for stable, healthy families to provide a safe home for children and youth who cannot be with their biological family. As a foster parent, you have control over who comes into your home. You identify the age group, sex of the child and special needs you are willing to take on. Foster children are like other children and require love, comfort, security and stability. Additional information about eligibility criteria, compensation rates and how to get approved as a foster parent can be found at www.mcmanfoster.com. If full time fostering is too big of a commitment for your family, McMan is also in need of respite/ relief providers. This role has a lot of flexibility as children are only with you for a few hours up to a few days at a time. Respite can 18 CHRISTIAN DIRECTORY 2018

be a good transition into fostering; you get experience with foster children but only take placements when it works with your familyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s schedule.
