Sally was born Celia Regalado on October 14, 1930 in Oxnard, Ca. Her parents were Leonard Regalado and Maria Del Refugio Regalado. Sally was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Teresa Ann·Camacho and her brother Larry Regalado. She is survived by her sons Benito Torres wife Vicky, Louis Torres wife Sheri, Larry Cancino and her daughter Kathleen Rivera husband Manuel. She is also survived by her sister Rache! Garcia. From her 5 children, Sally was blessed to have 10 grandchildren. 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grand children and twins on the way.
Sally started growing up in Camarilla Ca, till her Dad built a home on Oxnard Ca in 1940. She had a close relationship with her 16 Aunts and Uncles and many cousins. She didn’t like her name Celia so her .brother gave her the nickname Cha-Cha. She liked being called Cha-Cha and she also liked dancing the ChaCha. Sally loved Mexican music, she loved to sing and dance and watch classic musical movies, she was always dressed very stylish. In her 40’s she went to the county recorder’s office to change her name from Celia to Sally on her birth cerificate.
In 1967 Sally began to study the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and had her children learn the bible too, eventually other family members followed. Sally dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized in 1975. She started at the G street Kingdom Hall South Congregation then moved to Central Congregation then Pleasant Valley Congregation until 2011 when she suffered an accident at which time the Dementia set in until her death. Sally will be missed by all her family and friends.
