ABOUT MANTSINEN Mantsinen are a globally recognised brand designing and manufacturing dedicated hydraulic cranes. Whilst readily available for industrial applications, it is around the idiosyncrasies of port applications that these machines excel.

MANTSINEN HYDRAULIC CRANES

The concept of hydraulic cranes is based around cycle times and productivity and offer distinct advantage over rope-based alternatives in handling either solid or bulk products.

Many of the attachments are automatic or semiautomatic eliminating the need of in-hold / landside stevedoring; the machines are pinpoint accurate and are more wind resistant thus aiding port operations.

PRODUCT RANGE The Mantsinen range is available from 70 tonnes gvw to in excess of 380 tonnes and are available on either wheels, tracks, rails undercarriages or can be fixed to a structure. Configurations can be either portal or pylon type with slew rings height tailor-built to a specific port or need. Boom and stick configurations can extend to maximum capacities of 50 tonnes and maximum 40 metres outreach. The range is extended with a variety of differing cab positioning options and other ancillary equipment.

The Mantsinen vision is to provide customers with the most economical and ecological solutions to bulk and general cargo handling.

PRODUCTIVITY It is however around productivity and cost per unit that Mantsinen hydraulic cranes really excel. With fast and safe cycle times, it is possible for throughput to exceed 1000 tonnes per hour and with a lower capital cost and lower of ownership by virtue fuel saving technology of up to 50% with the Mantsinen patented Hybrilift® system, the cost per tonne is dramatically reduced.

With SANY empty container handlers, you can stack your containers extremely high, speedily, safely and precisely. You can choose to grip two containers placed on top of each other separately using the machine. When stacking containers high, stability is important for the driver. Reachstackers were the first to be designed and manufactured at Sany’s new 100-million-euro production facility near Dusseldorf in Germany.By 2013, the first “Made in Germany” reachstackers were delivered to their new European owners, through first class dealers in Europe. Following on from their success within the European port equipment markets, Container Handlers were added to the European product offering. ABOUT MOVELLA Movella Oy, based in Tampere Finland who started developing their own products in 2016, have very quickly become a major player in the translifter and cassette trailer market.

Arguably the most experienced translifter people in the industry, Movella design effective, safe and reliable solutions for moving heavy cargo and goods. The current range consists of forkliftattached translifters on single bogie for weights up to 50 tonnes as well as regular terminal tractorsupported translifters that can carry up to 130 tonnes. The range tops-out with I-series translifter capable of handling 220 tonnes which is ideally aimed at the extreme robust and heavyduty steel industry.

The ‘R’ Series range are Movella’s mid-range of translifters capable of handling payloads from 50 tonnes up to 140 tonnes and is most commonly used in industry and in port environments. The larger capacity ‘I’ series extends the scope further by allowing payloads of 240 tonnes.Most commonly used in conjunction with cassettes or trestles, the translifter can be tailor-made against customer’s specific requirements in any length ranging from 6m to 25 metres.

Cassettes remain a popular and cost-effective method of transport and storage and can withstand rough handling due to their basic construction. They also are recognised as being space efficient in that they can be block-stacked unlike trailers that demand access for lashing.
