For this study abroad studio my group and I focused on a community based business project. Our mission statement is, using olive oil production as a tool, we intend to create a business that provides services for tourists and refugees through three methods of infill; rural, social and urban. These three methods of impactful architecture will provide jobs, homes, and communities for people while working towards improving lives and generating livable wages. The goal is to be prepared for future refugee crisis’ as a result of climate change. I focused on the social infill/housing aspect of the project and all work show here is mine.
