The Nubian Square Performing Arts Center project also considered “Translations and Transformations” is a performance space on Washington Street in Nubian Square of Boston. For this project, the focus was on analyzing pieces of poetry overlaid with music and trying to create an abstract idea that would lead to a design of the space. From my analysis, I came up with the concept of interruption, taken from the idea of how certain sounds interrupted the general flow of the music. I centered my design around interruption and how I could create a large interruption that anchored the design and then is complemented by smaller interruptions.

This multi media page is a collection of some of my best personal work including sketching, water colors and photography. I have worked on trying to capture spaces and architecture through different mediums as a way of better analzying and understanding forms and works. Most of the work here is compiled from my time studying abroad in Europe.
