This workshop looks at how to organise your reading, make connections and use your research to strengthen your arguments. It is aimed at those writing dissertations or final year projects or those who are worried about how to bring all their reading together.

As part of a dissertation you need to find and review the literature that exists on your topic and present a discussion on this in the form of a literature review. This workshop will look at how to plan, structure and write a great literature review.

Referencing and Avoiding Plagiarism
This workshop will look at what plagiarism means and how to reference correctly to avoid it. We’ll focus mainly on Harvard referencing but information on other referencing styles will be available.

Referencing is more than just following a referencing style. It is important to think about the evidence you include and how you write about it. This workshop looks at how to effectively integrate references within your writing.

This workshop looks at how to design and collect data using a questionnaire for your research project or dissertation. The first part will look at question logic, layout and practicalities and the second looks at how to analyse and present the data you collect. Workshop with activities.
