Magic Pad

is a high-tech cloth. Each single fibre is 200 times finer than human hair. This means that a single Magic Pad is made of 2,700 kilometres of fibre. A part of the fibres is melted with pure silver.

Silver hinders unpleasant odours offers protection against microbial attacks.

In Magic Pad, the extreme absorbency of a conventional cleaning cloth is combined with the cleaning properties of a microfibre cloth. Its white-blue side is particularly suitable for stubborn residues. Magic Pad is universally usable for AMC products, cooking hobs etc. Even those that have allergy or neurodermatitis can use Magic Pad.

Proper handling and care of AMC products Careful maintenance is the best way to ensure your premium AMC pots retain their exceptional looks for a long time. With the right maintenance, we guarantee flawless function of the AMC products over 30 years.

Before first use Clean all AMC pots before the first use. In this way, the possibly still present polishing dust and light impurities are removed. At the same time, the products are taken care of even before the first use.

How does it go?

Take two squirts of Magic Foam on a moist Magic Sponge.

Take Magic Stone, froth it. Rub AMC pot rigorously and rinse with clear water. Dry.

Our tips Do not let food remains dry up. After use, fill the AMC pots with hot water and loosen with the Magic Sponge. Dried-up remains e.g. of sauces, pickled vegetables and preserves can cause stains or in certain cases, small dot-shaped alterations on stainless steel.

Clean all shiny surfaces only with Magic Sponge or Magic Pad. Never use abrasive cleansers or abrasive brushes. In case you use other sponges, never clean with rough side of the sponge.

Ideally unscrew Visiotherm before each cleaning, clean and dry separately. In this way, no deposits would form under the Visiotherm.

Basically, do not use any sharp or pointed object like a knife or stainless steel spatula for cleaning.

Do not soak burnt food remains for hours in an acidic cleaning solution (e.g. Magic Foam or vinegar solution).

Clean 1 removes even the toughest residues quickly and conveniently.

Dry AMC pots well after the cleaning.

The white-blue side of the Magic Pad is particularly suitable for stubborn residues.

Our special tips for the good-looks of your pots Handling of table salt and strongly salted food Too much salt not only damages health but can also attack stainless steel.

Add salt to soup, pasta water only after boiling.

Do not store food with high salt content in AMC pots e.g. cured food, pickled vegetables, canned food.

Non-compliance can lead to small, dot-shaped depressions in the pot base. The functioning of your pots is not negatively affected in any way through this.

Handling of acidic food Do not store foods that contain a lot of fruit acid, e.g. rhubarb compote or tomato sauce, in AMC pots.

Grey, dull deposits Calciferous tap water or/and common salt cause greyish white, dull deposits.

The deposits can be removed easily and quickly with Magic Foam.

White deposits This is about protein and starch residues that can form during roasting of meat without addition of fat and cooking for e.g. of potatoes and vegetables without addition of water.

These stains can be completely and easily removed with Magic Foam.

Coloured, mineral deposits These are formed through mineral components in tap water or in food.

They can be quite easily removed with Magic Foam.

Yellowish discolouration Such discolouration can happen through overheating.

Therefore choose the right energy input, i.e. reduce energy after reaching the frying or vegetable window as well as Soft or Turbo window.

With Magic Stone, cleaning is complete in an instant.

Avoiding scratches Pointed, sharp and rough objects like kitchen appliances and knives can cause scratches on the pot base.

Do not place AMC pots of the same diameter directly in each other.

Scratches, discolouration and deposits that are caused by incorrect usage like overheating and wrong cleaning habits, do not impair the function of the products in any way. It is not about material defects.

Cleaning in the dishwasher All pots, combination parts, Secuquick and Visiotherm are dishwasher-safe. However, cleaning with the AMC Clean 1 by hand is basically gentler and gives better care.

Use only household dishwashing detergent that is suitable for stainless steel in the dosage recommended by the manufacturer.

Industrial cleansers and other highly concentrated products contain chlorine and are highly alkaline. They damage the surfaces and thereby the natural protective layer as well as the sheen of the stainless steel products. Therefore never use such products.

Preclean heavily soiled stainless steel parts.

Place all the products in the dishwasher in such a way that the water can flow well.

Take all products out of the dishwasher immediately after the end of the last program step.

Polish away and dry all water drops and stains with Magic Sponge.
