A key part of our success lies in maintaining strong, open connections with our frontline teams By listening to those with boots on the ground and leveraging their experience and insight, we strengthen our processes and deepen our understanding of mine site challenges
As we celebrate these achievements, let us remain focused on what truly matters, protecting one another and striving for a safer, stronger workplace every day.

At Willow Creek, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s a value. It’s built into every decision we make, every shift we plan, and every task we complete We believe that everyone should go home at the end of the day in the same or better condition than they arrived, and thanks to your efforts, we ’ re living that belief
Thank you for making safety a shared success. Let’s keep leading the way, together.

The John Ash Award is presented to operations that logged a minimum of 1,000,000 worker hours and had the lowest injury-frequency rate.
As we continue to grow, I want to take a moment to reflect on the foundation that supports everything we do: safety. A truly safe workplace doesn’t happen by chance it requires a proactive safety culture, where each of us takes ownership, stays alert, and consistently makes safe choices.
Safety must always be a priority, not just when it's convenient or in the spotlight. Whether youre on the frontline, behind the scenes, or leading a team, the decisions you make every day shape the environment we all share. That’s why I challenge each of us to lead by example. When we model safe behavior, we create a ripple effect that encourages others to do the same.
It’s also critical that we treat every incident big or small as an opportunity to improve. By learning from past events, we don’t just fix problems; we build a stronger, more resilient standard of safety for the future.
Let’s continue to look out for one another, speak up when we see risks, and hold ourselves accountable Together, we ’ re not just following safety procedures we ’ re building a culture that protects what matters most: our people.
