The variety of colors, shapes of flowers, trees and leaves has fascinated me since my childhood. The power of the sun and its play with light and shadow in nature are characterized by: “grace, love, joy of life, confidence, peace and serenity”. You can capture the beauty of nature with images. Because what you love, you also protect. That’s why my motto for my pictures is: “Save the Earth”. I have been an environmental and animal rights activist since I was thirty and have therefore become a vegetarian. The two themes are reflected in my pictures. I would like to continue to support the environment through my painting. A great blessing is the opportunity to show my paintings in exhibitions and galleries around the world, as oil paintings or digitally. Another gift is that I am repeatedly asked in interviews what I want to convey with my pictures and thus have the opportunity to convey my heartfelt theme “Save the earth and the animal world”.

ASHLEY GRAY
creativepool.com/ashley-gray
Ashley Gray, hailing from London, England, was born in 1986. From a young age, Ashley was driven to express something inside and found a natural talent in visual art over sound. Central to Ashley’s work is the theme of connection, reality and aspects of human condition.
Ashley pursued an education in multimedia at college and later obtained a degree in Computer Games Art from university, followed by a master’s degree in the same field. This robust educational background laid the foundation for a career as a digital artist.
One of Ashley’s most significant works “Ethereal Blue,” stands as a testament to the profound influence of a mentor from the past who offered unwavering support, care and perspective. This artwork serves as an emotional bridge, successfully capturing an aspect of the teachings and experience.
Ashley’s creative process involves working within a 3D digital space, crafting models of the areas to be depicted. From this 3D space, multiple shots are taken and blended together with digital paint to create the final image. The recurring themes in Ashley’s art include love, grief, human connection, and the resilience of the human spirit amidst loss and regret.
Outside the realm of art, Ashley enjoys mostly music. While he interacts with the digital art community online, participating in shows and art fairs offer a unique opportunity to engage with audiences directly and experience environments. The insights and ideas shared by viewers and these experiences provide a powerful and continuous inspiration.

Themes taken from nature are given a lot of space in my artistic work. It is often the small things, such as tiny twigs, blossoms, roots or the recognizable structures in rotton leaves, that fascinate me and stimulate my imagination. Through autonomous coloring and isolated representation in portrait quality, they take on a new importance and are the focus of the picture.

CHRISTOPHER JULIUS MILLER
contact@contemporaryartcurator.com
I am Christopher Julius Miller, The Anti Artist. I am the antithesis of the stereotypical artist and I have NO talent. I only have Passion! My passion drives me to put in the time and effort to create fine artworks. Seeing improvement with piece keeps that drive alive.I feel the role of the contemporary artist is to offer a different perspective or a new way to view the environment around us. It is not what we see that makes each of us unique. It is how we see that distinguishes us as individuals.

DANIEL MCKINLEY
Mybio.art/daniel-mckinley
What inspires me most is my love of all things art. The creative process drives me. Sitting in front of an empty canvas, knowing that the possibilities are endless. I cannot call myself a traditional artist who spends a lot of time making sketches before starting a painting. I sketch directly on the canvas. I call it having a conversation with the canvas. It may start with a chair, or a flower, or a doorway, and then it all comes down to what if.
So long ago A long time ago I fell in love with art. The desire to create my own world Where the possibilities were endless
I have always wanted to escape I have always thought that there was more. My work reflects the dreamer in me Always searching for the what if.
We are taught to believe in everything we see before us Yet we have trouble trying to see what is beyond.
If I were to explain to you what my work is about, There would be no room for any other possibilities
The greatest advice that was given to me by one of my instructors was that I have to make the world my own.

A level in Vienna; Studies at the Vienna University, Study Stay at Lagos, Nigeria, Diploma at the College of Education of Vienna, Master’s degree at the CCNY of the City University of New York. International Summeracademy of Fine Arts Venice - Masterclass: Professor Peju Alatise. Sculptures, assemblage, photography, video and objectart. The intended mise-en-scène has been an important component of her art work. Having started with photographical art, for the last years she has focused on shoe sculptures and assemblages, and turned to a surrealistic way of working. “I just need to assemble the pictures and thoughts of my consciousness and subconsciousness to create a new vision and a new way to see.”, the artist says. As Georg Christoph Lichtenberg said, “He, who has eyes to see, sees everything in everything.” Research as well as the study of particular topics play important roles in the artistic realization: to deal with a topic - to eviscerate, to mangle, and to transform - to achieve a new insight. Veiled criticism with a touch of irony intended.

IGOR GRECHANYK
www.grechanyk.com
Igor Grechanyk has gained recognition for his unique ability to give form to the indefinite and project the collective unconscious in his works. His works carry a pronounced symbolism, they are imbued with a powerful energy that goes beyond the static object. His sculptures, whether solid or transparent, emanate an inner strength that is felt on a subconscious level.
In solid sculptures, energy is concentrated in a single image, sometimes acquiring monumental features. However, even in these works, there are gaps and caesuras that allow energy to break out, interacting with space. In Grechanyk’s transparent sculptures, emptiness is not passive; it is filled with pulsating energy, creating a complex network of reference points. In general, Igor Grechanyk’s work is an exploration of the energetic possibilities of sculpture, where each element, each space, and each light play a role in creating a multifaceted energy field.
”With my art, I create a perspective of energy to structure the surrounding harsh chaos and build a humanitarian space directed towards the future. In this process, I try to capture the invisible inner essence of phenomena and sensations, casting a visible texture on them like a net,” says Grechanyk.
In his work, Grechanyk uses the concept of “open form,” which offers ambiguity and multi-layered interpretations. The works themselves, as a rule, contain several levels of meaning, and thus stimulate the viewer to actively participate in the creation of new meanings.
Igor Grechanyk graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. He has held numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, including solo projects in museums and galleries, and has repeatedly participated in art fairs and art festivals around the world. His works are widely held in private and museum collections in Ukraine and around the world. He is a laureate of prestigious Ukrainian and international awards, and the creator of a series of monumental public works.

New York-based, Korean-born artist, Mae Jeon, works on a creative exploration of the digital medium rooted in her background in graphic design.
As a digital fine artist, my primary focus is on conveying biblical context through the use of flower characters. By integrating divine words with the form of flowers, I create a unique blend of art and spirituality. My work is further enhanced by the simulated backgrounds, which serve as a stage for the spiritual imagery drama I aim to portray. My goal is to evoke a sense of wonder and inspiration in the viewer, inviting them to delve deeper into the biblical narratives and contemplate their own spiritual journey.

I have chosen Photography as my art-instrument because it allows me to grasp these “realities” in an instant, without the distortions caused by the passage of time and changing feelings. My images are captured both in black and white and color creating timeless portrayals of my imagination and desires. Although they reflect somehow my Mexican heritage, they seek to break national boundaries and transport the observers to an unidentifiable interior place of great beauty and peace.

Me, Margaretha Gubernale, I was born on the 9th of June 1941 in Zug Switzerland, where I have my studio and where I have been painting and organizing exhibitions at home and abroad for almost 50 years. My work is also featured in many art books. I have developed my symbolic-magical style over time as my outlook on life has been strengthened through various activities outside of painting, as well as reading philosophical books and hiking in nature. That is why in my new works I have always sorted out aspects that have proven themselves through my own control and have dealt with many current topics, at the risk that everything that is crushed by the ravages of time could fall into the background. I also don’t shy away from incorporating technical elements into my work and increasingly combine physical aspects with metaphysical ones, so that the earth merges pleasantly with the sky and heaven and earth connect, because heaven knows it, and the earth suspects it.

My paintings emanate from the intersection of art and design. Professionally, I am an award-winning painter, photographer and commercial interior designer. My education includes American University, Pratt Institute and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
Geometry based, each painting involves a thought-provoking mixture of abstraction, repetition, and improvisation. Lines adhere to the rules of geometry: mathematically sensible angles, and shapes that work together perfectly.
My use of color is layered and flashes of color are allowed to peek through the pattern to add to the visual interest. Colors are made brighter by juxtaposition to unexpected colors and strong shapes are made stronger with the heavy application of paint. The effect is to invigorate the entire work, and to create rich surface textures.

Natalie Dunham was born in Riverside, CA in 1985. She received her BFA in painting from Birmingham-Southern College, in Birmingham, AL in 2007 and her MFA in sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore, MD in 2010. Dunham’s artwork has been collected and exhibited both nationally and internationally. She currently lives and works in the United States, with an additional workspace in Europe.
Dunham is a process-based artist whose work revolves around the creation of 3-dimensional material studies and sketches, primarily composed of basic geometric shapes and lines through the method of accumulation. Each study is meticulously assigned a numerical title, serving as both a record of the materials and processes utilized and a narrative thread that connects the viewer to the evolution of her artistic journey. This systematic approach not only documents her creative exploration but also invites viewers to pause and appreciate the transformative powers of the creative process and to call attention to the essentially ordinary origins of even the most extraordinary works of art.

Rita Schoonmaker has been on a long artistic journey since graduating with a BFA in the Fine Arts in 1976. She is most comfortable in the pursuit of creative thought through abstract expressionism. Schoonmaker looks to the local natural beauty of the American desert southwest for her inspiration. Having grown up in the region, she has spent considerable time exploring not only the desert landscapes, developing a deep appreciation for the natural forces that have carved out the rich variety of landforms, their strengths and colors, but also the urban landscape. This has lead her to formulate her own interpretations of the improbable dichotomies of the coexistence of nature and the man-made unavoidable in the modern landscape and their interactions with each other.

YI ZHU
www.zhuyi.art
A Journey Through Change and Expression
Yi Zhu’s artistic evolution is deeply intertwined with China’s historical transformation, spanning from the Mao Zedong era to the reforms of Deng Xiaoping. Born into a time of sweeping political and social shifts, he witnessed firsthand the restructuring of economic landscapes and ideological paradigms. These experiences shaped his worldview, cultivating a perspective that embraces both deconstruction and reconstruction—not only as a philosophy of life but as a defining principle of his art. His early work in printmaking and illustration reflected a keen eye for visual composition, establishing a foundation that would later merge with his commercial design expertise.
His career took a pivotal turn when he ventured into the business world, leading his own design company and pioneering point-of-sale advertising strategies in China. Engaging with the commercial sector exposed him to the fierce competition and emotional struggles that underlie human ambition and desire. These observations informed his artistic sensibilities, compelling him to depict themes of tension, longing, and existential pursuit. During this period, he created numerous prints and oil paintings that articulated a philosophical dialogue between material existence and spiritual introspection. As a self-proclaimed practitioner of deconstructivism and reconstructivism in painting, he positions his work within the broader discourse of contemporary Chinese and global art, challenging conventional visual narratives.

I was born in 1961. Drawing has been my favourite activity since childhood. When I was working as a teacher of Lithuanian language and literature, I enrolled in the Klaip?da Music Academy to study directing.
Then, at M. Romeris University, I had art therapy training and psychiatry course taught by psychotherapist E. Laurinaitis, followed by a course in genetics with professor D. Serapinas. I also studied psychological counselling using art therapy methods at the Institute of New Technologies and Coaching. For 3 years I have been delving deeper into Third Millennium Psychology, based on Western and Eastern philosophy. I studied Art History at the Art Academy.
Our children come to us through us, we bring them up and let them go into life to continue on their own path. In the same way, my creations are like my children. They came through me and I released them into the world. They are precious to me because they have opened up a wider view of the world and what is beyond it. Looking at my paintings, I realised what is communicated to me through them, that there is a world that is invisible to us, that we are never alone, that we are always being watched – our actions and especially our thoughts are under constant surveillance.
There are many forces of good and evil around. If our actions and thoughts are pure, evil does not come near us because we are surrounded by positive energies. If our thoughts are bad, we are enveloped by negative energy, which attracts more evil and overwhelms us. My paintings reveal this attitude. I paint when inspiration comes, when I feel the energy. Pictures are viewed from 3-5 meters. I have been painting in acrylics for eight years. 55 solo exhibitions of my paintings have already taken place in Lithuania.

AURELIO GAIGA
aureliogaiga.it
Aurelio Gaiga is an artist who lives and works in Villafranca di Verona. His practice materializes in medium-sized oil paintings on canvas. The brushstrokes are swift and thick and the colors vivid and intense.
The subjects of his works, engaged in everyday activities, are developed from digital photographs. With a (dis)figurative approach, Gaiga reduces the image to its pixels and reproduces them on canvas in analog format. These deconstructed images often stem from contemporary social, political and economic events that carry strong iconic value, embedding themselves in the collective imagination as historic turning points.
The artist invites reflection on the growing influence of technology on human life. The distortions Gaiga applies to the image echo the manipulations it undergoes in technological processes, such as television interference, digital glitches or the seductive artifices through which new technologies are presented, polished and free from any formal conflict, ready to be consumed.
Although painting may seem like a traditional medium, Gaiga views it as a tool for questioning automation. Rather than representing a loss of human control, his practice seeks to raise awareness of the need to establish a new relantionship with technology-not by fearing it, but by learning to critically evaluate its most controversial aspects.

BETTY COLLIER
An Artist and Art Teacher since the age of 19, Betty is a sculptor, illustrator and painter.
Betty’s work is now evolving more in a 2 Dimensional direction due to physical limitations with age. Betty’s work is in private collections, World Wide Art Books, Circle, Florence Biennale Catalogues and several others. Her sculpture is also displayed at Federation University, Australia.
The highlight this year for Betty has been receiving her third invitation to participate in the Florence Biennale, Italy. She received a 5th and then a 3rd prize for sculpture in 2011 and 2015. Betty is now working on a series of butterflies and flowers that create a strong feeling of peace and also suggest the power and complexity of nature.
In this example of Betty’s work, nature shows a subtle beauty with rhythmic patterns and harmonious color combinations with the butterflies and flowers projected into the foreground and the background being unlimited and undefined. These works are also developing in size and complexity from A4 to A1 on Cotton Rag. This changes the textural quality and the strength and tones of the color and allows her to explore with colored watercolor pencil used dry and starts to bring color and textural variations into the background.
Betty intends to keep exploring both subject matter and media.

In her studio at Perchtoldsdorf close to Vienna/Austria, Brigitte Thonhauser-Merk is creating very personal artworks in which she shows an abstract vision of the visible nature, often with some ornamental character. Her initial fascination for the line can be found in many of her paintings and drawings, thus reflecting her cultural heritage from the viennese “Jugendstil”, mixed with modernist influences which she got during several visits to France.
She participated in more than 120 exhibitions all over the world and got several awards.
Brigitte’s art is a vivid example of the capacity to combine traditional influences with modern technics, which leads to visually engaging works with a cultural resonance. Continual experiments and dedication to her work make her art a vivid and always further developping pleasure for the eyes.
She recently started experimenting with new technics that are based on a controlled coincident, which adds a dynamic and unforseeable element to her work.

“ My work is a reflection of my thoughts and feelings. I get inspired from life circumstances and express myself through colors and shapes or subjects that I love to share with others. Most of my work is oil on canvas, , because it’s richly pigmented and has a smooth texture once blended. The colors are vibrant and intense, which is more satisfying to the eye.
Oil requires patience and delicacy, both of which fit my character best. I would like for my art to evoke positivity and hope. I wish for the viewer to escape through my art, to connect with their soul, be curious, and be reminded to never lose hope.” ~Christine.O~

CORNELIA B. BIENZ
corneliabienz.com
Cornelia B. Bienz’s journey into photography was not driven by ambition but by a gradual discovery of her artistic voice. Her fascination with the medium began in her school days with analogue photography, where she enjoyed capturing and developing images in a darkroom. However, she initially pursued a different career path as a flight attendant, using photography primarily to document her travels through casual snapshots and holiday pictures. It remained a personal passion rather than a professional pursuit.A turning point came in 2015 when she stumbled upon a course titled ZEN Photo Art – Shaping the Void by Jo Fahl. Drawn to its description, she enrolled on a whim, unaware that this decision would redefine her relationship with photography. The course opened her eyes to photography as an expressive and contemplative medium rather than mere documentation. Determined to hone her skills, she pursued structured training at the European Photo Academy in Raststatt, studying under Matthias Gessler. The program, with its combination of online seminars, in-person workshops, and project-based learning, provided her with a strong technical foundation while allowing her creative instincts to flourish. As her artistic direction evolved, she found herself drawn to photography styles emphasizing stillness and introspection. Macro photography became a means of uncovering hidden beauty in everyday objects, capturing their intricate details from unique perspectives in both color and black and white. Simultaneously, she embraced ZEN photography, which grew from a technique into a philosophy of seeing and experiencing the world. For Bienz, ZEN photography is a meditative practice—an act of surrender to the moment, where the decision to press the shutter emerges naturally. Her work, often characterized by vast emptiness and quiet simplicity, invites viewers to pause, step away from life’s chaos, and engage in contemplation. Through her lens, Bienz transforms photography into more than an art form; it becomes a journey of mindfulness and deep perception.

This artwork I present here is a different landscape, human landscape family that unites after captivity. I don’t have words to explain only my brushes.

I am a German-born artist whose passion for Art began in early childhood. First introduced to oil colors in kindergarten, this formative experience sparked a lifelong dedication to my artistic expression. Over the years, I deepened my understanding of Art, leading to a Master’s degree in Art, Art History, and Psychology. For me the true excitement lies in the creative process.
Painting is a journey where each stroke of the brush brings me closer to something unknown. I embrace the flow of creation as much as the final result. I love when the direction of the painting shifts unexpectedly. These moments of surprise are where the real magic happens, when the painting begins to guide me rather the other way around. In the end, the canvas becomes a reflection of both my vision and the spontaneous moments that shaped it. Embracing the unpredictable not only brings joy to the process but also makes each piece one of a kind. Painting is not just my passion, but a necessity, as I deeply believe in the power of energy and its expression through Art.

My work is situated between figuration and abstraction - emphasizing abstraction over representation - and wants to be a bridge between the inherited past, a subjective vision of the present and my own exploration of what could be the future. It is also both the product of my emotions and of my intellect. My subjects are a timeless exploration of the human condition, between the universal and the personal, the abstract and the concrete, but also, i.e., the dipicting of the fleeting beauty of natural spaces always aiming to underline their eternal qualities.

His dedication to working exclusively in black and white allows him to focus on the interplay of light, shadow, and form, creating compositions that are both stark and mesmerizing.

Gino Dalle Luche was born in 1961 in Massa, Tuscany, in the village of La Rocca, at the foot of the Malaspina Castle. He is a self-taught artist, who trained on his own without having had teachers and without having attended specific schools. The characteristic landscapes of the territory of origin - in which it still lives - pushed him to painting already at a young age. He paints on canvas, card, table and also on Carrara marble. In his career, the artist has had the pleasure of bringing his art to national and international events, also receiving numerous awards and recognitions. He has always dedicated himself to painting with passion, trying to create works that can transmit strong emotions. The study of color is fundamental in this sense, an element to which the artist attributes a primary role in establishing a relationship with the observer.

GUSTAVS FILIPSONS
gustavsfilipsons.berta.me
Statement:”When painting, communicate the Inner Realm, cross the boundaries of human mind , touch the Soul and find revelation through artwork.”
The sole intention and purpose of my work is to communicate with the unknown in our subconscious mind.To find the connection with our true selves which i believe is something common we all possess.Other goal is to create artwork that would be some kind of new,if not new, then original kind of work, expressing oneself in terms of artistic form inside abstractionism. I use oil color, spray paint, gloss, scratching, spray paint,acrylic,canvas,brushes- different widths and forms, stencils.Usually I paint layer on layer until the actual artwork emerges from different kind of forms and images. Most of the cases there is some originally found sketch on the bases of which i develop my work. Its always found by some unconscious way, unintentionally, but I still go further and develop it letting intuition lead me.The whole art process as such is intense and quick, but the finishing stage can take some time to accomplish. The technique is developed to let unintentional to become intentional, that’s why it first hand appears a kind of brutal, because this process is like a volcano that sculpts.I am interested in the pure logic of interconnection of the certain images which had aroused unintentionally in the process of such painting, actually they have acquired certain logic. The same is about spaces and there relations in painting that seems flat for the untrained eye, but has deepness within.Images can cover images, even ten finished paintings sometimes can cover each other, until the actual artwork arises.Dr.phil.Ingrid Gardill on my art: We appreciate this artist because he executes his paintings with open working methods and with techniques that he is always developing. His large-format, abstract paintings are convincing because of their radical formal language, which is characterized by vitality. In terms of composition, he mostly dispenses with a “classical” structure, such as a pictorial center. Instead, he allows his forms to take on a life of their own, or sometimes they enter into a surprising connection with the depth of the background. His liveliness and joy of experimentation are always coupled with a virtuoso use of painterly gestures. Even if he is inspired by chance and open to novelty, he leaves nothing to pure chance, but guides his painting tools skillfully and with a sure hand. Lively gestures are withdrawn or additionally accentuated until an expressive form is created. Sometimes Gustavs Filipsons also takes stencils, which he intuitively surrounds with color in many layers. In doing so, he shifts them many times until the resulting structures show the right tension. The works are never boring, no two are alike. Moreover, his paintings dispense with a concrete message in favor of a kind of introspection.

Natalya Pyvovarova (Hélène de Tyndare, artistic pseudonym): The Enduring Legacy of a Family’s History
Natalya Pyvovarova, a French artist of Ukrainian origin, was born in Mariupol, a large industrial port city on the shores of the Sea of Azov. The city’s name evolved over time due to its proximity to Greek colonies in Crimea and the Sea of Azov, eventually becoming “Mariupol,” which means ”City of Mary” in Greek.
Hélène de Tyndare comes from a family with a rich and complex history. Descendants of Polish and Norwegian princes who owned vast estates in Ukraine, Hélène’s grandparents were forced to flee Bolshevik nationalization and endured the horrors of the Holodomor in 1932-33. While they survived these atrocities, her maternal grandfather perished in a gulag, and her paternal grandfather died on the battlefield during World War II. After graduating from an engineering school in Kyiv, Natalya embarked on a diverse career that took her to Siberia, Italy, Luxembourg, and France.
Although self-taught, her passion for painting emerged early, leading her to develop her own unique style of artistic expression. She currently works in her studio in Cannes, France, where she creates vibrant and colorful portraits, landscapes, movements, and allegories, each imbued with its own set of hidden stories or messages.
The works of Hélène de Tyndare reflect her emotional state and include allegorical layers that make them rich both figuratively and symbolically. Her paintings feature a non-academic blend of vivid colors, reminiscent of the works of Nicholas Roerich, a disciple of Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi. Her diverse portfolio includes a series of portraits, landscapes, movements, abstract, and allegorical paintings, each conveying a unique message as part of a larger narrative.
Natalya’s family history stands as a testament to 300 years of the Ukrainian people’s relentless struggle against Russian occupation. Her artistic creations embody deeply rooted emotions and experiences, drawing on the fundamental human values that underpin both Ukrainian and French cultures, while also reflecting the broader goal of preserving and enriching the world.
In 2024, with the aim of broadening her worldview and gaining a deeper understanding of philosophy, geopolitics, and societal evolution to inform her allegorical works, she enrolled in her second year of philosophy at the University of Paris Nanterre. ”Art cannot exist outside of politics and geopolitics; otherwise, it disappears. Art must resist dictatorship, thus building a better future.”

ISABEL HERRERA
Www.isabelherrerah.com
Guatemalan photographer and visual artist Isabel Herrera creates images that reveal truths akin to those found in dreams. Known for her ethereal Polaroid photography and surreal compositions using Polaroid emulsion lifts on various fabrics and metals, her work captures a unique blend of stillness and imminent action, reflecting the harmonious cycles of nature.
Born and raised in Guatemala City, Herrera was influenced by her artistic family. Her mother, a batik designer and haute couture creator, encouraged her exploration of various techniques, while her father, the family photographer, fostered her love for capturing moments. Herrera earned a BA in psychology from the College of William and Mary, where she found inspiration in nature, feeling a connection to a larger, harmonious whole.
Her artistic journey took a significant turn when she embraced Polaroid photography, realizing that her best digital shots resembled the vintage aesthetic of 70s Polaroids. She acquired a vintage Polaroid camera and taught herself the craft through online resources. “Polaroid photography slows you down. You can’t take a thousand photos; you have to wait for the right moment,” she explains, viewing this process as a metaphor for life’s unexpected surprises and imperfections.
In her work, Herrera explores life’s uncertainties and the beauty of change. She is drawn to capturing fleeting moments of magic, believing that each surprise is a precious gift. Her art has been showcased at Guatemala’s Sol del Rio Contemporary Art Gallery, Juannio’s annual Contemporary Latin American Art Auction, and international photography festivals in Germany, France, Italy, and the UK.
Isabel Herrera’s photographs and Polaroid emulsion lift compositions have been featured in Circle Foundations for the Arts as a Featured Artist from 2021 to 2023. She has also served as a guest lecturer at Barcelona’s first International Experimental Photography Festival and as a guest judge for Universidad Francisco Marroquín’s Design Week in 2020. In 2023, she was honored as one of three distinguished artists for the Junkabal Art Collective in Guatemala City.

Jan is a Professional Realist Artist, Tutor and Judge. Jan became a fulltime artist over 20 years ago, and although she paints most subjects, her love of animals and nature is where her heart lies. Working in Scratchboard, Watercolor, Pastel and Graphite – all dependent on the subject.
Jan paints and draws; she likes to convey a story to the viewer and encourages creativity. Exploring the concept of the unique personality of animals, capturing the atmosphere within landscapes/cityscapes, investigating the dynamics of the subject, including the manipulation of its effects. At times, rather than presenting a factual reality, an illusion is fabricated to conjure the realms of our imagination! The subjects are ones she knows well – they are a part of her life and surroundings. She also enjoys working with her students and nurtures their development and love of art.
Jan exhibits nationally and internationally and has been very privileged to have won various awards over the years, she has been invited to be published in various magazines nationally and in Europe.

JENIFER CAREY
With each new oeuvre I rediscover the joy of beauty and creation. My curiosity about life has led me, in art, to experiment with many methods of plastic expression. But whether I’m working in oil, sculpture or print, it’s all a way of sharing my zest for life, of capturing the instant.
Matisse, who has been a major influence in my work, said that a great modern conquest has been the secret of expression through colour. It is precisely this secret that I use with oils, combining my intuition, quick strokes and my transgression of the limits of drawing to achieve expressivity in my paintings.
The subject matter of my work is inspired by my passion for beauty, and shaped by my imagination and personal experiences. This can be seen in the series “The Piano Tuner”, which takes us on an exotic journey; in “Ibiza”, where the luminosity and atmosphere are more important than the figures, which are more essence than substance; or in “Marrakech”, where the atmosphere of jostling and haggling demand that the viewer pause and observe. Jazz is a spontaneous artistic expression. My love of music has enabled me to capture the movement and the atmosphere in oil as well as in prints. The discipline of printing has helped me to synthesize my work; again, the long process of making the plates doesn’t stop me seizing the instant.
I consider my works to be accessible, but not easy, striking but pleasing.

I have been working as an economist in the second largest Hungarian city Debrecen for 35 years already. I created my first picture in 2015, at that time merely to entertain myself. Devising these pictures brought me not only tranquillity, but the unparalleled joy of creating something unique. From a mere hobby painting with stamps turned into passion. The definition of my art was given by the known Hungarian art collector, owner of the Antal-Lusztig Collection Mr. Peter Antal. Should we look into it deeper we can see that my technique is a mix, a bit of mosaic, a bit of collage and a bit of montage. In one-word MoCoMo Art by Stamps. I am proud for it as I have worked it out developing it from one piece to the another.
I use special material as the stamps are miniature pieces of art themselves having their own message. With the use of them I create new value when I try to outline my own thoughts.
I have participated for the years in a number of exhibitions while some of my pictures found their place in significant art collections and public buildings

KAT KLEINMAN
www.katkleinmanart.com
Kat Kleinman is a photographer and collage artist from the Sacramento, California area. She began her career as an artist in 2016, after she retired as a psychotherapist, working with homeless people for 20 years. Her past work is referenced because it does inform her current work with a focus on positivity and making people feel better with each new work.
Kat began by specializing in floral collages, because the individual flowers combine to create a new and cohesive form, reflective of the healing process. She takes her own photographs, which is important to Kat, unless a photo is donated by a personal friend. Each image is hand cut, a process she calls meditative, and a single photo collage may require dozens of flowers, succulents and/or leaves.
Kat is enthusiastic about the potential for color to positively influence emotions, ultimately leading to better relationships between people. Kat’s work has been seen in international exhibitions in Tokyo, Barcelona, Hong Kong, and Madrid, as well as in many prestigious art books with other international artists.

About my works: Colours Transmissions -Colours and shapes. Magic. Dance? by
Thomas Thorausch - Deutsches Tanzarchiv Köln
The photo artist Kornelia Boje shows us dance – different from the way we know it, different from the way we are used to seeing it. The magic of her work arises from the unusual composition of colour and movement, which once again makes it clear to us that the experience of dance and movement is very subjective. With Kornelia Boje, the artistic approach to dance runs in the family. Already in the 1960s, the father, Walter Boje, tried to translate the fascination of dance into the language of the picture by freely dealing with colour and form. Kornelia Boje has further developed her father’s understanding of photography and dance and, in combination with film and digital image processing, transferred it to the modern age. About her work, she says: “Photographing dance is a way for me to give my own longing for movement artistic expression in a new way, in the spirit of my father, who specifically used colour and movement as a means of expression in his dance photos.”
LINCOLN HOWARD
www.lincolnhoward.com
Lincoln Howard is a Canadian artist residing near Vancouver B.C. His art is influenced by the abstract expressionists. Lincoln has created a technique using a limestone paste. the paste creates a 3D textural look to his work. This process is both moisture and time sensitive. In order to create the desired effect the mixture has to have a specific moisture content. Once the paste has been applied to the canvas he has to make his decisions quickly as time will effect the desired result. Lincoln also incorporates a grid pattern into the base layer of his paintings. This grid represents the human condition or as he puts it the matrix of out lives. The grid represents the millions of decisions we make that shape our lives. His paintings are for the most part intuitive. He will have a basic idea or plan for the painting .Once the painting begins it is primarily spontaneous and free flowing from the colours used to the bold pallet knife strokes. His paintings are also influenced by architecture and random shapes he sees in his daily life.

As an artist, Lone Bech’s commitment to both traditional portraiture and experimental techniques places her in a group of contemporary artists who are redefining figurative art. Born in 1943 in Denmark and now living in Germany, the awardwinning artist has always been exceptionally interested in people and their conditions.
An international banking career, which after 30 years was replaced by clairvoyant counselling, gave her the ideal opportunity to meet people of different nationalities and from different walks of life. In 2012, Lone Bech’s life took a third important turn when she began portraying people who had influenced and enriched her life, including artists, poets and writers such as Marguerite Duras.
Lone Bech learnt to paint under the guidance of German, Danish, Irish and American institutions, where she was often lucky enough to be placed among experienced painters. Since 2019, she has exhibited in Germany, Denmark, the USA and Switzerland, and in 2022 she had two solo exhibitions in Germany and one on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York.
Her portraits are mainly executed in oil, acrylic, watercolour and encaustic, the latter of which Lone Bech finds extremely exciting to work with as ENCAUSTIC, which consists of beeswax, resin and pigments, is applied to the board with quick strokes that are manipulated with brush, palette knife and heat-producing iron, air or flame. These paintings can last for more than 2000 years, as we have seen with Fayum mummy painters of Roman Egypt, who painted with the same materials. Today, however, few artists venture into fine art portraiture with hot encaustic. February, 2025

I love producing works with bright colors and strong contrasts. My works are both figurative and abstract, often represented in large sizes and on different media. My favorite subjects are a tribute to nature, be they animals, landscapes or flowers. Other recurring subjects are female figures who tell their story and their feelings, sometimes I address more current issues that touch me deeply. I like wood, rusty iron, stones and other natural materials that I often include in my works.

Born in Killeen, Texas, Marcus is a self-taught internationally published artist that enjoys using different media in creating his work. He is also a husband and a father of four that loves to venture into new cultures to experience different ways of life. He joined the military shortly after Highschool in 2011 and enlisted as a Crew Chief on B-52h aircrafts. Through this endeavor he gained new skills, embraced new cultures, and diversified his palette. After 8 years of service and minor setbacks in life he refocused his journey. In 2023 he graduated from Temple Community College with a degree in Health Science and is currently pursuing higher education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Art, though, has always been his first love and his form of expression and meditation. “Working on aircraft has helped train my eye and mind towards grasping an understanding into how little intricate pieces can play a large role in the operation of a system. This ideology can be found in every part of life itself, so I try to translate this concept into my art by making every piece of the picture have a deep correlation to the story that Is being portrayed.”

MARI KEMPF
marikempf.com
Born in Berlin in 1987 and raised on the countryside in northern Germany, Mari Kempf is characterized by two very different worlds in which different rules apply.
Mari Kempf is 100 percent autodidact and loves exploring new techniques, tools and materials. She conceives art as a form of meditation that nurtures her personal development and growth.
For Mari Kempf, art embodies a form of freedom that allows her to break free from invisibly prescribed conventions, guidelines and rules usually prevailing in society so that it gives her the chance to express herself far away from given standards and expectations.
The aspect that matters most to her is the process of creation itself. Often it starts with just one element that comes to mind which then triggers the whole journey of artistic expression whereby the result is a unique manifestation mirroring a specific emotional state in one moment of Mari Kempf’s life.
With recent exhibitions in iconic cities like New York, Milan, London and Paris, Mari Kempf is swiftly rising on the international art scene and establishing herself as a vital voice in contemporary art. She was honored with the Women in Art Excellence Award at the Women in Art Biennale London in 2024.
Today she lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.

MARIA TERESA GUALA
mariateresaguala@libero.it
Italian artist Maria Teresa Guala was born in Turin in 1947 into a family deeply rooted in the arts. Her father, a painter and advertiser, significantly influenced her creative upbringing. Guala pursued formal training at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin in the 1960s under the guidance of Professor Scroppo. After a prolonged hiatus due to professional and familial commitments, she reignited her artistic career in 2000 with solo exhibitions at the Micrò Gallery and the Promotrice of Fine Arts in Turin. Over the years, her career has blossomed into an international endeavor, with her works featured in prominent exhibitions across Europe, Russia, and the United States.
Guala’s paintings are imbued with a raw vitality that blends aesthetic sophistication with instinctual spontaneity. In “Andando al Mercato... Abdul”, the layered composition and gestural strokes evoke a sense of movement and cultural storytelling, reminiscent of Fauvist and post-Impressionist traditions. Meanwhile, “Perdue dans ses Pensées”captures a more introspective quality, juxtaposing vivid, expressive color palettes with the intimacy of human form. Her work draws parallels to artists like Jean Dubuffet and the visual language of Art Brut, while maintaining a distinctly personal narrative imbued with Italian heritage

I have been a member of the Association of Fine Artists since 9 September 1997. As a shaman, I am in contact with the spirits of nature and the spiritual world. I am a messenger. I convey the message of my paintings through the Cosmic Hierarchies about the current state of development of the planet and humanity, as well as the current messages of each cosmic or spiritual community that need to be shared with humanity. Consequently, my paintings carry symbolic, healing or consciousness-raising elements. Both the colors used and the composition are a visual representation of the message conveyed. I believe and profess that the world we live in is beautiful with nature, with people, with every moment, with happiness and tears. It is all part of our lives and through them, we become truly human.

My work is based on the direct observation of elements of nature and phenomena that take place in various areas of the planet. Beyond an objective reading, what I do is perceive sensations originated in these phenomena and translate them into a visual language, impregnated with my own experiences.
People evolve and are influenced by what happens around them; as our environment changes, our perception of it also evolves. Through the shapes and colors of my painting I seek to eternalize the subtle nuances generated by this wonderful process of human interaction with nature.

MICHAEL KAPHENGST

The painters exploration of new styles led to the development of a unique approach in art, characterised by different modes of representation. These include “consumptive surrealism”, “fencing pictures - absolute linearism” and “extreme linearism”. In the realm of art, the concept of “consumptive surrealism” serves as a juxtaposition to the overwhelming linearity associated with consumer goods. Through surreal imagery, the artist creates alternate worlds that challenge conventional perceptions.
The meticulous process behind these artstic expressions showcases a dedication to pushing boundaries and redefining traditional norms within the art world. This innovative use of linearism highlights a departure from ordinary, inviting viewers to engage with art in fresh and thought-provoking ways.

MISHA NICHOLAS
@justbeingmisha1996
Misha Nicholas is a visual artist whose work examines societal narratives through a lens of introspection and critique. Using a mix of mediums, she explores how collective perceptions shape social issues, often highlighting overlooked voices and perspectives.
Her latest work, a collage of pigeons, challenges viewers to consider the experiences of animals we often ignore, offering a reflection on urban coexistence and empathy. The pigeons’ lack of a shadow reinforces the fact that the photo is a collage rather than reality, subtly questioning what is seen and what is overlooked. Through layered compositions and symbolism, Nicholas invites audiences to rethink their relationship with the world around them.

As her artistic vision evolved, she found herself venturing into an innovative realm of mixed media, one that harmoniously blended her passion for painting with her extensive knowledge of graphic design. MONEL ALIOTE

My artistic practice is a celebration of the spiritual and emotional essence of humanity, deeply inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” Through my portraits, vibrant with colors drawn from this masterpiece - including yellow, blue, light baby blue, and purple - I aim to evoke a sense of wonder, positivity, and introspection.
In executing my work, I blend traditional and modern techniques, using bold strokes and dynamic compositions to capture the depth and energy of the human spirit. This fusion allows me to infuse each piece with a sense of vitality and emotion, guiding viewers towards a contemplative exploration of the subjects and the interplay of colors.
The vivid use of yellow symbolizes happiness and youthful energy, while the calming blue hues encourage reflection and tranquility. Light baby blue creates an atmosphere of peace, while the depth and power of deep blue add a captivating dimension. Rich purples symbolize nobility, creativity, and wisdom, infusing my portraits with layers of meaning.
Viewers are invited to experience the work in a reflective manner, allowing the colors and forms to provoke introspection and curiosity. When interactive, viewers should engage with the work by observing from various distances, enabling the pieces to reveal different emotions and meanings from different perspectives.
My role in creating these works is to act as a conduit for the emotional and spiritual concepts I wish to convey. The technical aspects of my work involve a deliberate use of color, form, and brushwork to express the vitality and depth of human emotion.
Ultimately, my art serves as a bridge between the tangible and intangible, the physical and spiritual, urging viewers to contemplate the many layers of human experience. Through a deliberate amalgamation of color, form, and emotion, I strive to create an immersive experience that invites viewers to delve into the spiritual and emotional aspects of existence.

Natalie Egger, multi-award winning Austrian artist, graduated from the University for Applied Arts Vienna, is actively engaged in the fields of photography, digital art & visual arts. Her creative journey unfolds in the vibrant city of Vienna, where she resides and diligently hones her craft. Natalie has experimented with various artistic media, but two particular mediums hold her current fascination: photography and digital art on one hand, and acrylic painting (mostly on canvas) and pencil drawing on the other. In her digital art and photography, she captures close-ups of random subjects encountered during her urban explorations or travels. These serendipitous encounters become snapshots, which she later consciously deconstructs through the fusion of two to four photographs, often incorporating her pencil drawings. This transformative process yields entirely new digital creations, reimagining her original photographs in fresh and unexpected ways. Natalie’s acrylic paintings and pencil drawings reflect her deep fascination with the human face and body, as well as their myriad expressions. Her sources of inspiration include dance, performance theatre, and fashion. The artist has exhibited her work in several group exhibitions online, at museums, galleries and art fairs in Austria, Italy, Spain, UK, USA, China, Greece, Switzerland and Kazakhstan. Her artworks are featured in various art publications and can be admired in private collections in Europe and Asia. Her very first solo exhibition took place in London, UK in July 2024. Her works are emotional, intuitive, evocative and passionate. And the statements are different: with some pictures she just wants to express a passionate joy about the beauty of life and the beauty of art. Other works have a socio-political background. They want to warn and awaken: the destruction of our planet and the extinction of so many animals for commercial purposes must be stopped! Our most important goal must be to pass on this wonderful planet to future generations intact and worth living in.

Pilar Xercavins Casas is an artist from Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona, Spain) born in 1961. Her painting style is abstract and she uses a mixed technique. She went through different learning techniques; pencil, charcoal, oil, coloured chalks and engraving, until she ended up using natural pigments and created her own style.
Before creating her own technique she experimented with plants, flowers and leaves from the trees leaving them to act on the canvas under the rain and the sun, this way she discovered an aging texture more similar to nature. Later on a trip to Morocco she discovered the natural pigments that led her to create her own technique. She has exhibited in multiple collective and individual exhibitions in galleries and museums and has received several international awards.

QINGZHU LIN
Instagram.com/qingzhu6869
Chinese artist Qingzhu Lin was born in 1951 and currently resides in the United States. His artistic journey began in childhood, sparked by a treasured oil painting in his home and the intricate designs of postage stamps he collected. These early visual experiences awakened a deep fascination with art, instilling in him a profound appreciation for storytelling through imagery. Over the years, this passion evolved into a lifelong dedication to painting, shaping his artistic vision and expressive style.
Lin’s work embodies a fusion of his Chinese heritage and the refined aesthetics of the European Renaissance. Deeply inspired by the Great Masters, he specializes in figurative painting and landscapes, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary influences. His paintings often explore the complexities of human emotion and the beauty of the natural world, balancing meticulous craftsmanship with poetic expression. His artistic process is guided by a pursuit of harmony— between form and meaning, light and shadow, realism and imagination.
A strong literary foundation informs Lin’s creative philosophy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Shandong University, an academic background that enriches his artistic narrative. His studies deepened his understanding of symbolism, storytelling, and the timeless themes of human existence, which subtly weave their way into his work. This interplay between literature and painting allows him to create compositions that resonate beyond their visual appeal, inviting viewers into a contemplative space where art and philosophy intertwine.
Beyond technical mastery, Lin’s art reflects a personal and philosophical exploration of life’s deeper meanings. His works are not merely representations of subjects but vessels of thought, emotion, and cultural dialogue. He paints not for commercial success, but to express something profound—something that words alone cannot fully convey. While his pursuit is often misunderstood, he remains steadfast in his belief that art should transcend material value, serving as a bridge between the artist’s inner world and the viewer’s soul.
Through his paintings, Qingzhu Lin continues to seek beauty, truth, and the unspoken poetry of existence, leaving behind works that invite reflection and inspire connection across time and culture.

“The damaged caterpillar, gripped in darkness, becomes the chrysalis – a time for change – and, through determination, the butterfly escapes, drawn to the life-giving sun.”
The painting is part of Robert’s up-coming A4, full-colour book, “The Butterfly Man”, to be published later this year. It is a gallery and biography of Hope, lavishly illustrated with dozens of Robert’s remarkable paintings. It tells the story of Robert’s journey from a truly dreadful childhood and adolescence (“The Damaged Caterpillar”) to an astonishing, almost metaphysical, time of change (“The Chrysalis”) and, eventually, to an escape from all the miasma of his past and become “The Butterfly Man”: happy, busy, and full of life.

SIMON HAFELE
www.psypixart.com
Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Austrian Alps Simon Hafele was born in 1985 in the western part of Tyrol where he found inspiration in the picturesque beauty of the fundamental elements of nature. As a child he couldn’t keep his hands off crayons, a passion which he continued to pursue while attending Elbigenalp, a carving school with a 4 year duration. There he could explore his artistic pathway, causing Simon to seal his own fate—he would follow the calling of his soul and devote his life to art. After having travelled to India, Cambodia, Nepal, Thailand and Laos for longer periods of time, Simon brought back the kind of inspiration, which would turn out to be vital for his evolving. Numerous experiments with different types of colours and light preceded his unique style—a visual language that translates the in-between, the transcendental experience of (yet) unexisting worlds into intriguing paintings with bright and often fluorescent colours, leaving behind an unmistakable trace of recognition. Simons »Visionary Psychedelic Art« is a practice, where the artist reveals his soul and shares his insights of a nonmundane reality. In Simons paintings the vivid colours reflect the artists desire for colourfulness in all aspects of life, which he then transforms into an invitation for the viewer to access alternate realms and otherworldly dimensions. The conundrum of his breath-taking work reveals itself by surrendering to feeling: like in life—love, the mother of all emotions— is all spectators need to decode the overwhelming sceneries in Simons paintings. His works consume the viewer, offering a tender relationship between artwork and spectator, where they can lose themselves, wander in multiverses and simultaneously float back to the present moment, only to find more pathways down to the essence of life: truth.

At the tender age of five, I miraculously survived a fall into a river. However, as soon as I became conscious of my surroundings, my father’s alcoholism began to torment me. His addiction brought mental and physical suffering, plunging me into a constant state of anxiety and conflict. As I grew and my sense of self developed, I enrolled in an art college. There, I was absolute happiness in the name of youth. only to be left with a gaping void upon graduation, as if the joyous memories had turned into a haunting curse. To fill this emptiness, I immersed myself in painting, finding life’s meaning through the constant discovery each new creation brought.
In 2002, during my solo exhibition of hand-coloured woodblock prints at Gallery Yoshii in Paris, I had the honour of hosting President Chirac and curators from the Louvre. This event led to the publication of “12 Selected Monkey Haikus” by RMN (Reunion des Musees Nationaux, France) , which was displayed in the libraries of the Louvre and the Guimet Museum, as well as in renowned bookstores in Paris. The invitation to the Élysée Palace remains a vivid memory.
From January 11th to February 26th, 2024, a retrospective exhibition was held at the Takashimaya Archives in Osaka. This exhibition, the first solo show by a living artist in Takashimaya’s over 100-year history, was visited by many media and visitors and received great praise.
The masterpieces of past greats continue to captivate my senses, with artists like Bacon and Rothko evoking a sense of a new era following Picasso. Living in the same epoch, I aspire to create a new era alongside these artists who weigh upon my heart.
At present, I am uncertain whether I paint to live or live to paint. Yet, for me, painting is akin to water in the scorching desert sun, quenching my parched throat.

STEFANOIU VASILE
vasilestefanoiu09@gmail.com
Vasile Stefanoiu, a Romanian sculptor, believes art must convey a message and sees sculpture as a restorative force. He creates sustainable circular art using recycled and reused resources.
The contemporaneity of his sculpture consists in the possibility of telling new messages with established techniques, moving from form to content, becoming an ideational art in which the concept takes precedence.
His sculptures are dynamic, the theme of movement has appeared repeatedly in his recent works.
In some of his sculptures, he brings back legends from Greek mythology and places them in different contexts, to create a new way of seeing in modern times.
His recent works show the impact of digital acceleration on humanity, questioning whether it advances or limits creativity. His sculptures occupy a unique niche within contemporary art, one that pays homage to the technical mastery and thematic depth of the old masters while simultaneously engaging with the challenges and dichotomies of the modern era. His nuanced approach to form and content places him among those contemporary artists who seek to reconcile the digital age’s fast-paced innovation with the contemplative rhythm of classical art.

WENDY COHEN
www.wendycohen.net.au
Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based artist whose art practice focuses on the relationship of colour, shapes, lines and forms with the shapes of realistic components that is communicated in a painterly abstracted language. By integrating shapes into a cohesive body of shapes, colours and forms in conjunction with collage elements, flowing ideas are manifested that bring attention to the surface and materiality of the contents of each painting. Observation, intuition and imagination are key to her process as she responds to the magnificence and interconnectedness of the world. But most importantly, Wendy welcomes the viewer into the space of the painting in order to participate in the mystery and wonderment of her works that she creatively translates onto the canvas with a syncopated beat and rhythm.
