WorldAg Expo Sets 10-Year High inAttendance Numbers
The 2023 WorldAg Expo was held in Tulare, Calif., on Feb. 14 to 16, 2023. This annual show marked 56 years — with the theme, “Taking Care ofAg Business.”



This year’s event saw a 10-year high in attendance with more than 100,000 attendees during its three-day run.
Morethan1,200exhibitorsdisplayedthelatestinfarmequipment,allowing exhibitors the chance to speak with farmers, ag professionals and students from across the country.
More than 100 educational sessions were held, from renewable energy and groundwater management to dairy and livestock innovations.
The show opened on Tues., Feb. 14, with opening remarks from U.S. SpeakerKevinMcCarthy, followedbythefiringofthecannonandaflyover of an F18 and F35 down Meridian Street.
McCarthyspokeabouttheimportanceoffarming—“wefeedtheworld” — and the importance of “helping today’s farmers continue to grow.”
After opening ceremonies, the show hosted the first U.S. House Committee Agriculture 2023 Bill Listening session, where the bipartisan committee members in attendance heard the concerns facing farmers today. House committee members included Chairman Glenn Thompson (PA-15), JimCosta(CA-21),JohnDuarte(CA-13),JohnRose(TN-6),alongwithsix additionalcommitteemembers,whospoketothegroupaboutthefutureand concerns in farming. Food safety and water continue to be of high importance to those in attendance.
Most exhibitors were enthusiastic about the expo, where attendees were able to visit with dealers and manufacturers from all facets of the agricultural industry, from autonomous solutions to harvesting to dairy advancements.
