Place: World Golf Village Renaissance Resort St. Augustine, FL The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) will hold its annual Convention and Trade Show March 28 – 31, 2023, in St. Augustine, Florida at the world Golf Village Renaissance Resort.
Former Notre Dame football player Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger will give the keynote presentation. More than just an exceptional athlete and motivational speaker, Ruettiger is also an entrepreneur with insights that members can apply to their own businesses. The convention will feature ten (10) additional education sessions for owners, managers, and field personnel. This includes panel discussions with the 2023 Project of the Year, Safety Excellence and Craft Training Excellence Award Winners and a panel discussion on current trends in structural fastening with representatives from several fastening suppliers. Other sessions will cover succession planning, fall rescue planning and execution, risk management solutions for crane operations in steel erection. The trade show provides erectors and fabricators a chance to see the latest products, services and innovations they need for a safer and more productive work site.

The SEAA Convention & Trade Show is a trade show dedicated to professionals involved in steel construction activities. Held annually each Spring, the National Convention features Management and Field education topics, networking, awards, business meetings and trade show.

National Commission – Certification of Crane Operators
National Commission for the certification of Crane Operators commonly referred to by the acronym NCCCO is a non-profit organization, established in January 1995 and headquartered in Fairfax, VA. NCCCO is dedicated to improving safety and standardizing education in the world of construction. The NCCCO, of course, is devoted specifically to certifying crane operators and operators of similar equipment. Requirements for CCO Mobile Crane Operator certification include the following: Be at least 18 years of age, comply with NCCCO’s Substance Abuse Policy, Pass Written Examinations (Core and at least one Specialty), Pass Practical Examination(s) – Candidates must pass the Practical Exam within twelve (12) months of passing the written examination.
