The sunny island

of secluded bays and irresistible beaches

S

ome are shallow and sandy, some gravel and some rocky with natural stone slabs for sunbathing... Although relatively small, the island of Ugljan abounds with a variety of beaches situated in many picturesque bays along the coastline of the island. The most popular beaches are located in the southern part of the island, facing Dugi Otok and protected from the Bora wind. Because of their diversity and beauty, irresistible charm and intimacy, you may find yourself in a dilemma when it comes to picking the right beach for you. The entire island is one beach, which transforms from secluded to intimate, to nudist to the one astir with crowd, fun and red-hot summer rhythms. Whether you select a quiet and secluded cove or a sandy rhapsody, one thing is certain, you have chosen your place under the sun.
