C�’S MEANDERINGS For most of the Freak Brothers’ run in newspapers, their feline flatmate occupied a standalone strip at the bottom of the page, reviving a tradition from early-20th-century newspaper pages, where star cartoonists would run an unconnected regular feature above or below their better-known headliner. At the start of what became the 7th Voyage serial, Shelton and Sheridan had the cat stow away with the travelling Freaks, but his journey soon becomes singular.
