EDITOR'S NOTE
As an editor
I have had the privilege of working with many talented women writers over the years. Through their stories, I have come to understand that womanhood is a complex and multifaceted experience that cannot be reduced to a single definition.
At its core, womanhood is about resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
But womanhood is also about joy and celebration Women have made incredible contributions to society in fields ranging from science to the arts.
They have created beautiful works of literature, music, and art that have enriched our lives and inspired us to be better.
As I reflect on the many stories I have read and edited over the years, I am struck by the diversity of experiences that women bring to the table. Some have overcome incredible obstacles to achieve their goals, while others have found fulfillment in quieter, more personal pursuits.
But no matter what their individual experiences may be, all women share a common bond. We are all part of a sisterhood that is united by our shared experiences of womanhood. And it is through this sisterhood that we can find the strength and support we need to continue fighting for a better future for all women.
In the end, womanhood is not something that can be easily defined or encapsulated in a single note. It is a complex and ever-evolving experience that is shaped by our individual experiences and the world around us.
But one thing is certain: women are a force to be reckoned with, and we will continue to make our voices heard until we achieve the equality and recognition we deserve.

WELL NESS
LEADING WITH LEGACY
BY TIA SMITHI would only be my full self when I felt like no one was watching These days I'm more committed to the idea of not letting life pass me by.
I focus a lot of my energy on being the woman I want my kids to brag about when they're older.
I want the people in my life to see me and see a good time.
A big laugh.
LEADING WITH LEGACY
A soft shoulder.
Endless dancing.
Big meals
Tears of joy
Fun due to a life well lived.
I want people to know how much they mean to me. My legacy is one that will be built on love.
That's why love is my word for the year again.
It might be my word of the year for the rest of my life honestly. Fear can't exist where love lives.
Regret can't exist where love lives.
Shame, doubt and all the other things that take up way too much of our mental space simply can not be where love is thriving

What do I need to do to make sure I’m living the life that I want to live?
For me, the easiest way to do this has been to make a yearly bucket list. I think vision boards are great for manifesting outcomes in time but a yearly bucket list feels a little bit more detailed to me.
It feels more action based.
The yearly bucket list shows me what I have decided I need to do over the next 12 months to feel alive.
To feel free. To live my legacy now.
Our legacies are all we have after it's all said and done The material things we buy won't matter if there's not a woman with a story attached to them
Think about it
Wellness is about more than water and workouts. Wellness is how we feel about the life we are currently living. Part of our wellness goals should be centered around actively pursuing a life well lived. What are we doing to build our personal legacies? Are we spending our days frustrated, bored or unhappy? What can be done about that?
Make a yearly bucket list. It doesn't have to be extravagant but it should be all about you. What are the things that would bring you the kind of overwhelming joy that sets your soul on fire? What makes you feel free? Who makes you laugh until you cry?
Go there. Do those things. Live the kind of life that present you can be proud of
Create a legacy that tells your true story A good story I want our eulogies to be some of the best stories ever told If you want to have one of the best years of your life consider taking your wellness journey to the next level by living your legacy now Try creating a bucket list full of all the things that align with the legacy you want to create The woman that you are waiting to grow into is on the other side of one great year and you can be her now
Each year I focus on how I want to live my legacy. I think about the people I want to be around, places I'd like to go and things I'd like to do. What do I love? Where can I find that feeling of intense love when I need it?
TASTE AND SEE
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
or so the saying goes.
But what does that really mean?
Does it mean that if you eat a lot of junk food, you'll become a junky?
Or if you eat a lot of vegetables, you'll become a superhuman? Well, not exactly. But what you eat does have a significant impact on your health and wellbeing.
The food you consume provides your body with the nutrients it needs to function properly. If you eat a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats, your body will have the fuel it needs to thrive. On the other hand, if you consume a lot of processed foods, sugary drinks, and unhealthy fats, your body will struggle to function optimally.
In addition to providing your body with nutrients, the food you eat can also impact your mood and mental health. Studies have shown that people who eat a healthy diet are less likely to experience depression and anxiety than those who consume a lot of junk food. This is because the nutrients in healthy foods help to support brain function and regulate mood.
So, what should you be eating? A healthy diet should include plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats
Of course, it's okay to indulge in unhealthy foods every once in a while. The key is to make healthy eating a habit, rather than a chore. Try to make small changes to your diet over time, such as swapping out sugary drinks for water or adding more vegetables to your meals. Your body (and mind) will thank you!
