The heart of the spa is the thermal spring, located in the central part of Zdraviliški dom. The water springs from a depth of 1.200m with a spring temperature ranging from 35°C to 36°C. It is colorless, odorless and has no specific taste.

It can be found in the center part of Hotel Zdraviliški Dom. The spring is captured in a multangular stone wall covered with glazed tiles, which come together in the upper pyramid-shaped top that is cut off.

The thermal spring has extraordinary physiochemical characteristics.

For this reason it can be used for treatment of various illnesses. The water, which contains 3.4 percent of carbon dioxide in the form of gas and has a slight radioactive effect because of the number of an organic substances it contains, is chiefly used for thermal bathing in the pool or in huts, for mud baths, pine baths, and salt baths.

Medjugorje Sport centar Medjugorje began with work seven years ago as a part of the parent company Circle International.
