mastery, this may be taken into consideration when placing students in various learning levels. The Education Council will make a determination for student placement.
SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
We ask that teachers be notified as soon as possible for any absences. In the event that the total number of absences for one semester exceeds nine days, a meeting will be called with parents, teachers and the Head of School to discuss the implications of the absences.
School Hours:
Full-Time Program School hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM Hybrid/Part-Time School hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM Students are able to arrive between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM. Students need to be picked up no later than 3:15 PM in the afternoons.
The actual number of days school is in session will be determined by the yearly school calendar. Attendance records for the students are reported on the student's report card each semester. Our academic calendar will be available on ClassReach.
Short-Term Absences: If a student needs to be absent from school for one to two days, for any reason, the parents should contact the school office and the student’ s teachers as soon as possible. For sickness: please notify the school by 8:15 AM. Using the ClassReach absence form under “forms. ”
Extended Absences:

Frequent, non-consecutive absences are sometimes unavoidable due to illness but can interrupt a student’ s ability to keep up in school. We recommend that families communicate with teachers when concerns arise. Extended absences may impede mastery and this will be evaluated by the Education Council for placement.
Make-Up Work:
Students may take make-up tests and submit any other make-up work before or after school. It
