GENERAL POLICY
La Luz ’ s dress code policy is founded in a desire to cultivate a professional culture that is neat, orderly, and honors God in our attire.
Gentlemen
Hair must be a natural color and neatly groomed
Watches are the only jewelry allowed for boys
Shorts must be knee length
Hats or hoodies may not be worn in the building
Dress shirts must be tucked in
Ladies
Hair must be a natural color and neatly groomed
Earrings are allowed. No body piercing jewelry
Dresses, jumpers, skirts and shorts must be 3 inches above top of knee or longer
Blouses must be tucked in
Primary Students: no makeup or artificial nails
Nail polish is allowed as long as the colors are classy and fitting to the uniform
If accessories become a distraction the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed
Uniform days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Casual days: Monday and Friday. For the 3-day core program casual days will be announced in advance
Students may wear uniform any day of the week but casual attire cannot be worn on uniform days
