Uniform Policy 2024-2025
GENERAL POLICY Standards Clothing should be neat and clean. Stained or rumpled clothing is not considered “in uniform.” Long sleeve shirts may not be worn under short sleeve shirts. Pant lengths should be tailored to the shoe and should be relaxed and suitable for comfortable movement. Pants are to be worn at the waist or their natural height. Shirts and polo shirts may be worn tucked. Belts must be worn. Tied, exposed belly or altered shirts will not be allowed. Gentlemen No chains, earrings, body piercing, jewelry or visible tattoos Watches are the only visible jewelry allowed for boys; they can not make noise, have smart technology, or be cumbersome to wear If watches becomes a distraction the teacher has the discretion to request it be removed Ladies Girl’s skirts and shorts must be an appropriate length. Short skirts and shorts will not be allowed. Hair accessories must be fitting to the style of the uniform, which is modest and conservative No makeup or artificial nails Nail polish is allowed as long as the colors are solid and fitting to the uniform. Stud earrings are allowed, but no hoops or dangling earrings; no body piercing jewelry or visible tattoos Watches can not make noise, have smart technology or be cumbersome to wear If hair accessories or jewelry become a distraction, the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed Cold Weather In cold or wet weather, students may wear boots and appropriate outerwear such as coats, scarves, hats, snow pants, etc. when arriving, dismissing, or outside, but must remove them upon arrival in the classroom and bring uniform shoes to put on in the classroom. Navy sweaters or fleece zip up jackets are allowed. No hoodies. Preschoool CCA T-shirt must be worn each day with any pants and shoes.
