IB Professional Development Workshops Hosted by Concordian
Concordian International School was thrilled to welcome more than 350 distinguished IB educators from around the world and proudly host the IB Southeast Asia Regional Workshops during September 27th-29th, 2024.
It was truly a special occasion, where educators from diverse backgrounds came together to enhance their skills, share knowledge, and strengthen the IB community.
Concordian was excited to host such a significant event, not only because it underscores our commitment to educational excellence, but also because it provided a unique opportunity for Concordian teachers to collaborate with their peers from across the globe. Together they engaged in meaningful discussions, exchanged innovative ideas, and explored best practices in education.
The workshops focused on advancing the core principles of the IB programme, promoting inquiry-based learning and fostering a global mindset in our students.
A sincere ‘thank you’ goes out to Ms. Sally Wen, our tireless Secondary School Principal who handled the organization and logistics and whose efforts made the event not only possible but also a tremendous success. A special recognition is also given to our Concordian Ambassadors, the Secondary school students who welcomed the workshop participants and demonstrated the school’s spirit and values throughout the event.
We were proud to be part of this worldwide learning community and we look forward to the positive impact this event will have on both our students and staff.
