Case studies Silverways School — Commercial / Build / Maintenance

Silverways is a brand-new independent specialist school that has been created to accommodate children’s sensory needs and create the best setting for them to learn and succeed. Previously a Parish Centre, we transformed the building by installing a steel framed mezzanine which added another room to accommodate students. The steel structure also allowed us to demolish internal patricians and to add a large extension for the new hall. A full mechanical and electrical design, installation and commissioning package updated the inner workings of the building and allowed for the installation of a new commercial kitchen

Nottingham University — Commercial / Facilities Management

We updated and refurbished 50 kitchens and 116 bathrooms across 5 blocks at Raleigh Park, Nottingham on behalf of Derwent Students. Giving each room a modern feel and make the space more inviting to the next generation of students. We also fitted 42 fire doors throughout the blocks.

Thwaites Head Office

— Office space/ Design & Build / Furnishings

Thwaites Brewery purchased their new home at Sykes Holt, Mellor Brook with the aim of moving their brewery, head office and stables to a more rural location and to create a new all encapsulated visitor centre. We were briefed to create an exciting interior scheme which incorporated an existing listed building which dates back to 1540. Our concept had to include the full internal specification as well as supply and installation of all decorative features, bric-a-brac, loose and fixed furniture and the fit out of a new training pub, cellar, conference room and tack room.

Liberation Group needed a cost effective fit out of staff accommodation units for workers in the Channel Islands. Included in the total budget are preliminary costs, strip out, M&E, ceilings, doors and frames, decorating and flooring, fittings and furniture. 19

Lincoln University Student Union

— Bar / Design & Build / Furnishings

Our brief was to turn what was a dated student union into a lively, modern destination for Lincoln University’s student population to meet, play and work. The revamp created a versatile and inspiring space that’s suited to studying sessions just as much as a night out. Configured the space to be used more effectively •

1960’s vibe created with geometric prints, retro armchairs and vintage accessories Revamped the bar with bright tiling and copper piping

Patrick House — Commercial / Design / Build

The client was granted planning permission to convert the office building into 16, luxury one and two bedroom apartments and approached us to carry out the full design and build project across a 26-week period. Each apartment was finished to the highest standard, with sleek fitted kitchens and stylish bathrooms in each of the luxury apartments. The modern interiors combined with its unrivalled town-centre location, the Patrick House apartments offer its residents stylish, modern living at its finest.

St Botolph's Primary School

We supplied a new metal awning with colourful bases to create a covered outdoor area. This has allowed pupils of the primary school to enjoy the playground come rain or shine.
