ABOUT KETAMINE Combining Ketamine with Psychotherapy BENEFITS Ketamine works on depression and anxiety through various means, including direct amelioration of symptoms, promotion of neuroplasticity, as well as allowing patients to have more direct access to emotions, thus allowing them to resolve the traumatic issues which so often are resistant to conventional medications and psychotherapy.

LEGALITY IN CANADA Ketamine is a schedule 1 drug under the Controlled Substances Act and can be legitimately prescribed as an off-label medicine for psychiatric purposes. A sizeable minority of mental health prescriptions are off-label.

LEGALITY IN USA The FDA has approved use of ketamine for treatment resistant depression and ketamine can also be prescribed off-label for most mental health disorders for which a clinical rationale can be made.).
