The chairman of the Friends of the Concertgebouw is Mr Fernand Van den Broele (honorary alderman). TIPS PI C K I N G U P Y O U R T I C K E T S Booked tickets must be picked up and paid for at the box office at least 30 minutes before the performance. WA I T I N G L I S T When a performance is fully booked, you may ask for your name to be put on a waiting list. For this service, please contact TiNCK +32 70 22 33 02 or In&Uit Brugge. If any bookings are cancelled, people on the waiting list will be contacted by telephone (in the order they were put on it). Furthermore, if seats are still available in the auditorium 15 minutes before the start of the performance, they will be offered to those on the waiting list (again in the order they were put on it). However, a place on the waiting list is no guarantee that you will eventually receive a ticket. LAT E A R R I VA L S ? U N A B L E T O AT TEND? Concert-goers entering the auditorium during the performance would cause disruption to both the performers and the audience. If possible, latecomers will be admitted during the first interval. However, access to the auditorium cannot be guaranteed. Tickets already purchased are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. However, they are refundable in the event of a complete cancellation of the announced programme. HOUSE RULES Photography, filming and video and sound recording are prohibited in the Concertgebouw. Please check that your mobile phone is switched off whenever you attend a performance. FO Y E R A N D C O N C E R T G E B O U W CAFE The bar in the foyer is open during the interval. Before and after the performance you can have a drink in the Concertgebouwcafé (page 167). CLOAKROOM For security reasons, use of the cloakroom is compulsory.
