Once upon a time, in a really vast forest, there lived a proboscis monkey who worked really hard to try to work in the forest's newspaper, but he was not hired because of his unusual look.

One day he wrote a really good article about deforestation, but still, the white and superb wolf who ran the Newspaper rejected it. The monkey desperately appealed to him, "I've been working hard everyday only to get this job and you continue rejecting it!" still, the wolf did not hire him, but he kept going there and giving his best every time.

Finally in a rainy day in the forest, one worker did not came to work and they desperately needed that worker, so the wolf finally accepted his wish to work there, but he addressed, "this is only for today, tomorrow you will not be here!" The monkey accepted it, trusting in his potential and he was right his article was a huge success, thus the proboscis monkey got the job he wanted.

After sometime, the biggest and most powerful lion, who owned the newspaper, finally discovered what the wolf did to the monkey, in the end the lion fired him and two years later that very monkey started running the company.

The horse and the load

One day, a horse was asked to delivered precious load for an important man in the south. There were several valuable things in the cargo, but the most valuable item was the potion of eternal life, the horse, however, was unaware of its real importance. On its way, it stopped to drink some water in the lake, and a rogue alligator appeared. The crocodile, who was not gullible, knew that there was a rare potion in the cargo, and said to the horse that he would only let him drink the lake water if the horse let him pick up an item from the cargo. The horse did not know the real importance of the load because he was disinterested and ignorant, and let him get anything from the cargo. The horse thought it would not be much needed. Upon arriving at the important man's house, the man quickly took the load from the horse, and searched for the potion of eternal life to give his mother who was in bad conditions. Stirred and stirred the load and nothing of the potion appeared. When the man went to take satisfaction with the horse, he tried to escape but the man had spread bear traps around the house if they tried to outmaneuver him, and the horse fell into one of the traps and bled to death.

Tall and short

By Daniela Ribeiro Once upon a time there was a koala who was friends with a bear. They lived in a small village in the middle of the forest. The bear was a very electric animal, he used to run and play a lot. The koala was always smiling and bringing happiness to everyone. When they played together it felt like it was the best feeling ever, but there was a problem the koala never told the bear; the things they were doing were difficult to him because of his size. He never told the bear because he kept thinking to himself “if the bear can do it, so do I “.

One day he couldn't keep doing this anymore, so he hid in a bush.

So he started to look around, and started trying new things, and discovered things that a small animal could do like small places he could fit, treasures he could find, places he could climb. So he realised that there are things that a big bear could do and things that a small koala could do, but there were things that they could do together. While he was there the bear was crazy looking for him, he couldn't find him anywhere. The bear thought that he did something that hurted him, or worse that he didn't want to be friends anymore, he was really sad. And then he saw the koala running in his direction, he was a little relieved.

So the koala told him everything, the reason why he disappeared and his new discovery, the bear was happy for him but also sad because he didn't realise this sooner, he apologized for not noticing that he was struggling with the games. Then the koala came up with new games that every sized animal could join and play with them with 9 no problems.

The cat and the mouse

By Davi Palma In the house of a boy named Henrique Carvalho there was a cat called pudding, a very cute cat and loved by everyone in his family. But in 2015 the Carvalho family moved to Uruguay because their parents had been transferred from the company, everything was fine, the house was beautiful on their street, there were several people of Henrique's age. But one day, pudding was very sad because its owners did not put their milk and food of the day, pudding was very hungry and sad, and the family was wondering why? Everyone went to sleep, but Henrique stayed in the living room with his friend watching a movie and eating popcorn, until the dean caught asleep or even ate the popcorn that his mother made, but when they woke up they found a surprise, a rat was on the table eating and enjoying the popcorn, they were very disgusted and shouted the father and mother the parents went down thinking that something had happened to the boys, they explained everything but when they went to see the cat it was gone, they were looking for the mouse for hours and nothing to find. Some time passed and the family decided to travel to Brazil to see their relatives and left the cat pudding at home, with plenty of food and drink besides Henrique, the pudding made several friends, and decided to have a party called all his friends cats and cats , the party went on until dawn a lot of food and a lot of milk for everyone, but everyone knew the rule that cfasa had to stay up, party goes party and something strange happens the cat Jorge starts meowing towards a hole that was in the wall, and who was there? the mouse he left the den destined to end the party eating everything and messing up all the cats went after him, on the sofa mattress even in the chandelier, after that the house was all destroyed, and right when they look at the window the family arrives there was a problem in the vol, they start to enter the house and the cat wakes up and has another day like any other.

The rabbit and the fox

By Emanuel Castro Once upon a time there was a very nice rabbit because he helped the others with what they needed. Everyone except for the rabbit thought that the fox was a thief, for this reason nobody liked her. One day the rabbit was walking and saw something strange… the Panda that stole everyone’s stuff! So the rabbit knew who had stolen it all, so he went to the fox’s house and wanted to talk to her but then she wasn’t over there. So the rabbit went looking for the fox. While walking the animals said they were also stolen so everyone went looking for the fox then the rabbit finally found her near the cliff and then said “hi fox, i wanted to talk to you…” when the fox looked back the rabbit saw that she was crying saying it wasn't her who stole things from the animals, so the rabbit trusted the fox and everyone became friends forever.

The Rabbit and the Gorilla

Once upon a time, on a sunny day, there were a big and strong gorilla and a small and wise rabbit walking along a path to go to their homes.

Every day they found themselves on the same path and always tried to avoid each other because the all time they met they had discussions.

One day it was raining a lot and the rain was harming the path they took to go home, and suddenly a tree fell when they were walking. They got stuck on the path and getting wet, they immediately started thinking about solutions. And the rabbit had the idea to go around the tree, but the gorilla disagreed and tried to raise the tree saying that the idea of the rabbit would not work. The rabbit went around the tree and continued walking along the path.

The next day, the rabbit was leaving his house, and he saw the gorilla who was really wet and still trying to lift the tree, he said, “you said my idea wouldn't work, but I'm here on the other side of the path and dry�. After trying really hard the gorilla stopped trying to lift the tree and realized he was not strong enough to get it up, and he apologized.

As days went past they became close friends and stopped avoiding themselves in the path.

The fox and the tortoise

Once upon a time, near a lake, there lived a very joyful fox and a wise tortoise. The tortoise and the fox were best friends, almost inseparable.

They were very similar, except for one little detail... The fox always spent its money buying unnecessary things and the tortoise always took care of it, and saved to one day buy another house.

The tortoise always said to the fox, "you shouldn't spend all your money at once" but the fox never heard them. One day before the sunset they decide to go to a market to buy only some fruits. It was the biggest market of the region, it had all kinds of fruits, clothes and even home furnitures.

The fox got crazy on this market and spent all its savings, but his friend, the tortoise only bought the necessary (4 apples, 2 bananas and one pack of beans). On the next day the fox realized that he would have to lose its house because it didn't have more money to pay the bills, so he started living with his best friend. During the period when the tortoise and the four were living together, the fox realized that his friend is very talkative, so the tortoise gave a lot of advice on how to manage its money. The fox works really hard at its new job ... Until after a year he managed to save money to buy its house again.

The wolf and the bird

Once upon a time, in a forest with a huge view, there lived a temperamental wolf, who had no friends. One day a flock of birds appeared in the sky. They were making their immigration to the south, but a strong wind hit all the birds so hard, that even some separated and fell in the forest, and unfortunately for one of the birds, it fell, but where did it fall? ... Yeah, at the wolf's house, he spent hours looking for the other birds near where he fell, but found no one. Night had come, and along with night, gusts of rain were falling, and the bird, cold and hungry, was looking for a place to rest, and without him realizing he had fallen in front of a cave, he found a warm and cozy place to rest, after a few minutes he fell into a deep sleep ... The next day the bird woke up with a beautiful breakfast that the wolf had made for him just when the sun had risen, breaking all other bad thoughts that other animals had for the wolf ... After a few weeks the bird had recovered and rested from everything that had happened to him, and finally decided to look for his friends, he was sad to have to leave, but there, he was happy, because he had made a new friendship the wolf.

The Elephant and the Lion

Once upon a time, on a big, colorful savana there lived a “small”, skinny, old Elephant and a big, strong, young Lion. The Lion was really conceited, he regularly made fun of other animals for being prettier and for the fact that the hunters and tourists gave him a lot of respect. As life went past, the Lion started relaxing, getting lazy, he did not practiced physical exercises, then he got fat. All along the Elephant was alerting him that this was not good at all, because he new that when their friends got fat, the hunters killed them to commerce. But of course, the proud Lion didn’t care about the wyze Elephant’s advice.

One day, the hunters entered the Lion's area, which was really odd, he saw that they weren’t carrying any food, so they got him because he was fat as they liked, so the hunters took the Lion and threw them to the zoo.

The Bear and the Bee

By Julie Pinho Long time ago, in a very beautiful sun-flower field, there lived a bear named Penny. She was known for being a very sweet and protective being.

One day, she decided to move out of her cave and visit a different area of the forest. When she got there the first animal she saw was in fact an insect, a bee, it looked sad for some reason so therefore Penny decided to ask what was wrong, the bee answered, “oh… it’s just the other animals… they said they didn’t want to be my friend anymore because I was too selfish...I don’t think it’s true!”.

The bear felt bad for the bee and replied, “well... I can be your friend if you’d like!”. The bee happily agreed and introduced herself as Zoey.

Soon they became very close.

One day, the bear told the bee she had to hibernate for about 4 months and asked the bee if she could stay around the area because usually the bear would wake up at night time all alone and scared, so she asked if the bee could stay in a hive near her cave, the bee agreed and soon the bear went to sleep.

Not so long after, the bee had already pollinated almost every flower in that area, she then decided to leave and find somewhere else with more flowers for her to pollinate. She didn’t think the bear would mind waking up alone because she assumed Penny was used to it.

Four months later the bear woke up and went to search for Zoey in the middle of the night. She told herself if she went to the hive as fast as she could she would get it all over and feel safer. But when she got there, there was no bee. The hive was abandoned and the bear felt betrayed and alone.

A couple months later after walking for a while she found Zoey’s hive.

Zoey came out saying: “my dear friend Penny! How have you be-...” but was crushed right before she could finish that sentence. The bear was blunted by the bitter reminder of her so-called friend’s betrayal.

The fox and the owl

Once upon a time, in a big and beautiful forest, there lived a lying and selfish fox who took advantage of his “friendships”. The fox did not like and was always too lazy to go after its own food. He thought that stealing his “friends” and blaming another animal was easier, but what she did not know was that the most respected and clever owl in the forest was watching her almost everyday and seeing all the lies and wrong things that she did.

One day, when the winter was coming and all the animals were going after their food, the fox was pretending that she was getting ready for the winter, but in reality was preparing a plan to steal part of the food of his “friends”. When the owl discovered that, she decided to put an end to the fox farce saying all the truth to all the animals of the forest. With that the fox lost the trust of all the “friends” she had, and had to run to keep enough food for the entire winter period.

The turtle and the vulture

By Maria Bittencourt One day it was announced a sand castle building competition in the forest and the big winner will receive a ticket to the beach the news ran quickly through everyone’s ears and all the animals got really excited especially the little turtle that his dream was to see the beach. The preparations started really soon in all animals houses and as imagined with the little turtle it was not different, so every single day before the competition right after the school the turtle went straight home to work on his building skills until the sun goes down. After a few days in this routine everything was going well until the vulture arrived - Hello little turtle, what are you doing in there playing with sand?

- Oh good afternoon sir vulture, I’m training for the competition!

- Competition? What competition?

- It’s a sand castle competition sir.

- Jesus Christ what a waste of time! All this work for nothing.

- No, not for nothing! Who wins will get a prize.

- I see, and you think you could win?

- Yes sir, I really really want that prize and I believe in myself!

The vulture started to laugh really hard until he calm down and say: - Oh my your really funny, but seriously do you think you could win?

- Of course sir, I do believe I can win!

- So stop thinking that! Look at you, you're slow, and little and I’m not even mentioning those paws they can’t build anything. You are only wasting your time and killing yourself doing this.

Starting that day the vulture didn’t stop getting the turtle down but the little turtle never gave up. He trained harder and harder every day but in one rainy day when the sun started to show itself the little turtle knew it was competition day! And faster than expected all the animals were together to watch what was going to happen then they all heard the miss owl say “Let the competition begin!”. The time passed fast and they all were done so the lions judged all the castles one by one until they said “Our decision is clear and the winner is the Little Turtle!”

After hearing that everyone started to cheer except the Vulture who was mortally angry and just flew to an unknown place. The little turtle revived his price with happiness and enjoyed his trip to the beach.

The fox and the bird

By Rafael Hasan Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived a mischievous fox and a tiny bird. They were playing chess in the bird's house. As they were playing, the fox realized he was losing. So, he needed to think quickly about a way to win that match. He decided he would cheat, so he commented, “Hey! Look, behind you! I think a big animal is at your window!“. The bird quickly looked at the window, but there was nothing. Meanwhile, the fox changed the position of the pieces, in a way that he would win. When the bird turned back he didn't understand how the pieces turned that way, so he lost the game.

Soon, a great friend of the bird, the polar bear, from another biome, went to visit the bird. The bird explained what happened to the polar bear, and he responded explaining that the fox always cheats. The bear also commented that the fox was banned from the polar area for cheating, so it was probable that he cheated again. After this talk, the polar bear went back home and the bird, furious, decided that him and his friend would ban the fox from that area of the forest forever.

The monkey who wanted to be a dancer

Once upon a time, in a far away jungle, there lived a young little monkey called Mike, who was very skilled. He could run really fast, he jumped very high, and could swing himself on any branch.

His father, who was named Arthur, was a very prestigious policeman in that region of the forest, He was the battalion leader, and all the children wanted to be strong like him, except his son Mike.

This fact made the policeman very uncomfortable, because how did everyone want to be like him except the monkey who grew up beside him and with all those skills?

One day, Arthur asked Mike, “my son, why don't you want to be like daddy? look how strong I am and everyone likes me!” Mike replied calmly but with a certain enthusiasm in his voice, “Daddy, I don't want to be a police officer, because I want to be a dancer!” When Arthur heard these words, he was terrified, because he didn’t expect it, he wanted his son to be like him, not happy. And so he said, raising his voice, “What do you mean my son ?! dancing is a girls’ thing!” After that, tears started to appear in Mike's eyes, incredulous with his father's position, he ran out and told himself that he didn't care what his father thinks, he will do what makes him happy.

After that Mike went out every morning to practice his dance, that was his new routine. Every day he went after what made him happy.

He always went on a very tall and leafy tree, to prevent his father from finding him. One day, the young monkey was practicing his new choreography when his father appeared at his side, Mike was startled by fear of what was to come. His father was upset, he was shouting that he was disappointed that he had lied and that he was doing something that he does not approve of. For Mike's own protection, the young monkey walked away for nothing too bad to happen, but it had rained the night before so the branches of the tree were slippery. As Mike walked away he ended up slipping and falling down so big a tree that he broke several bones in his body.

When Arthur realized what had happened, he felt deep agony and sadness, because if he let his son make his decisions and make him happy, none of this would have happened.

In a forest there was a lion that dominated everything and everyone, he was the typical king of the forest. In the forest every year, each type of animal had to send one of them to the lion, no one knew why every year someone had to be sent to the King.

This year it was the squirrels' turn to send a “representative” for their end. That at least was what everyone expected, because for all other animals and even for other animals the lion as he was threatening, rude and selfish thought that he devoured them and had fun torturing them before eating.

When Carl the squirrel arrived on the lions territory the king came to him and told him to follow him to a farther cave. Arriving there the squirrel saw that the cave was a cave with a small lake in the center and had some rocks around it. As soon as they were alone, the lion started talking to him. After the talk he was a little shocked, because Carl was not expecting a conversation and much less what the lion told him. The lion said that everything here was a theater, that it had nothing to show that he actually felt lonely and that he ordered all the crews to send a representative because he wanted a friend and that he did not eat any animals that were sent to him, he just stayed with that animal for a year as a friend and then released the animal and to live somewhere else because no one could know the truth.

In the end the squirrel spent a year with the lion taking and laughing and when the one year passed the lion let the squirrel go. So the squirrel left the cave and said goodbye to his friend and followed his new adventure.

Once upon a time, a family of llamas, that lived in Cusco, had two girls. The older girl, Elizabeth, was a beautiful and colorful girl. The little one, Nina, was creative and lovely. She tried to be like her sister in every conceivable way, because Elizabeth was an inspiration for Nina. Elizabeth and Nina were best friends.

One day Elizabeth went on a trip with her friends. On their way back home, her friends decided to do a challenge; you had to jump from the edge of a cliff.

They were putting pressure in Elizabeth so she would jump too, but she did not want to because she thought about her family and she knew something could go wrong. Her friends all did it even with her trying to stop them. When she arrived home, the first thing she did was say to her sister, “The best thing you can do is be yourself and do not let others decide what you are going to say or do.�

By Tiago Tantini Once upon a time, in central Africa, in a cave near a volcano, there lived a gorilla. One day, while the gorilla was sleeping, a small bird got in the cave and set up a nest. When the gorilla woke up and saw the nest, he just did not care and went to the forest to play with his friends. He came back at night after an exhausting day, and went to sleep - or at least he tried to, because the bird was chirping a lot, as there was extremely cold in the cave. Angry, the gorilla picked up a stone from the ground and threw it at the nest, destroying it.

In the morning, the gorilla, as yesterday, went to the forest to play with his friends. While he was there, another bird got in the cave and also set up a nest. When he got home at night and saw the nest, he spoke to himself, “I would not have made this nest here if I were you” and went to sleep hoping the bird would not start to chirp. But as he laid down on his bed, the bird started chirping, because of the extremely low temperature inside the cave. Irritated, once again, the gorilla picked up a stone from the ground and threw it at the nest.

However, this time the nest was not destroyed. As a matter of fact, no damage was done to it. So, the gorilla got up off his bed and went to destroy the nest with his own hands. What he did not expect was that there wasn’t a common bird in there, but an Andean condor with more than 3.5 meters! The condor, angrily, caught the gorilla with its claws, flew to the volcano near where the gorilla lived, reached the top of it, and, even though he was begging forgiveness, threw the gorilla in the volcano, keeping the nest, and the whole cave, for himself.
