StudentswhowerepartoftheCompassSpanishprogramduringLowerSchoolcontinuetheirstudiesin Avancemos1,2,3,and4.Thisprogramextendsanddeepenstheirlanguagedevelopment,strengthening proficiencyacrossallfourdomains:listening,speaking,reading,andwriting.Thispathwayallowsstudentsto progresstowardahighlevelofSpanishproficiency,withthegoalofreachingAvancemos4by8thGradewith theskillsandconfidencetocommunicateeffectivelyinSpanish.

Thissequencewithroomforfutureadvancementsensuresthatstudentsdonotsimplyusetechnology,but insteadtheylearntounderstandit,shapeit,andcreatewithintentionality.
Compasswillcontinuetobeanintentionaltechnologycampus,graduallyscaffoldingtechnologyusewithin theclassroom,includingtheuseoflaptops,iPads,andothertechnologyforspecificacademicpurposes.
