What a journey it has been! Over the past few months, your incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work have brought Oliver! Jr. to life. To our talented students your commitment to endless rehearsals, perfecting lines, mastering choreography and embodying your characters has been nothing short of inspiring. You have shown grit, teamwork and a true passion for the arts.
To our wonderful teachers and learning assistants thank you for stepping into every role imaginable, from set builders to backstage heroes and for always cheering our cast on with boundless energy.
To our amazing parents and school community thank you for enduring countless renditions of “Consider Yourself” at the dinner table, for last-minute costume fixes and for being our young stars’ biggest fans. Your unwavering support has been the glue holding this production together.
Directing this musical has been an absolute joy and none of it would have been possible without this incredible team effort. So here’s to all of you thank you for making Oliver! Jr. a truly unforgettable experience!

Oliver! Jr is an exciting musical adventu Dickens' classic tale of Oliver Twist. Thi an orphan, as he bravely searches for a belong. After escaping a harsh life at a the clever Dodger and joins a group of sneaky Fagin.
Together, they have all sorts of lively, m adventures in the heart of London! Wit tapping songs and colorful characters, Oliver! Jr is a heartwarming journey ab friendship, courage, and finding where truly fit in.

Hey! I’m Mathijs, and I’m playing Oliver in the musical! I like drama, singing and acting. I am really excited to play a main character in the musical and I hope you enjoy it! This is my second time acting in a musical, last year I performed as Mr Allan in the Wizard of Oz. I also really adore pandas!
Meera, Year 5, is excited to take on the role of the Artful Dodger in this year’s Oliver! Jr. by Gharaffa Campus. With a passion for singing and acting, Meera is delighted to be playing her second lead role and has thoroughly enjoyed bringing this lively character to life. She hopes everyone in the audience has as much fun watching the show as she’s had preparing for it!
Kareema, in Year 6, is delighted to play Fagin in Oliver Jr. for the Gharaffa musical this year. This is her second time playing a main character in the production, and she has loved it ever since she joined. Kareema has a grand passion for acting and loves singing too. She’s overjoyed to share the story of Oliver Jr. with people.
This year Mahina will be acting as Nancy in the Oliver Jr. show. She is nine years old and is in Year 5A. She is very excited because this is her very first show that she has ever been in. Mahina is from Italy and is thrilled that she is in the Oliver Jr. show. Mahina is looking forward to the show and performing for you guys. She hopes you have a great time and enjoy the show. Mahina has a huge passion for singing and acting, and she is excited to bring Nancy’s character to life on stage.
Riccardo is very excited to be playing the role of Bill Sykes in this years’ production of Oliver!Jr. This is the third musical he has been part of and each time he finds it a wonderful experience. Riccardo loves performing arts and music, he is currently learning how to play trumpet. He believes playing at Themaid auditorium will be great fun!
Meint is absolutely honoured to be playing Mr Brownlow at our school musical, Oliver Junior. This is Meints second production and he is very excited about it. Meint has tons of hobbies such as drawing, kite surfing and take part in triathlons. He is very excited to be bringing Mr Brownlow’s character to stage this year.
