The Associate Pastor is a key shepherding role at Community Church. This pastor comes alongside the Senior Pastor to help carry the weight of leadership, preaching, teaching, pastoral care, ministry development, and to carry out the mission of Community Church. The role ensures that the church is not dependent on one person but is led by a team of shepherds serving together under Christ.

Senior Pastor
To lead Community Church in glorifying God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and live as fully devoted followers of Christ.

• I foster unity by guarding against division, promoting grace, and keeping the gospel central.
• I encourage others by equipping them to carry out ministry, not doing it all myself.

The Senior Pastor must balance preaching, vision, leadership, and care, while also raising up others to share the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
OUR VISION
To shepherd Community Church with wisdom, prayer, and integrity so that the body of Christ remains healthy, unified, and focused on making disciples.

4. Protect Unity – Address conflict biblically, guard against gossip or division, and promote a culture of grace.
5. Lead by Example – Model Christlike character in family, work, and ministry life.
OUR CULTURE
• I see eldership as a calling to shepherd, not to rule.
• I prepare my heart in prayer before every decision or act of service.
• I serve with humility, knowing I am accountable to Christ, the Chief Shepherd.
• I foster unity by standing together with fellow elders, pastors, and leaders in love and truth.
• I encourage discipleship, equipping others to grow in faith and obedience.
• I serve with integrity, guarding the testimony of the church before the community.
The Elder role is one of spiritual guardianship and shepherding rooted in Scripture (Acts 20:28, 1 Peter 5:1-4, Titus 1:5-9), where elders provide oversight with love, humility, and biblical wisdom. Elders serve as shepherds, overseers, and spiritual guardians of the church. They come alongside the Senior Pastor and pastoral staff to provide prayer, discernment, counsel, and oversight. Their role is not about title or power, but about servant leadership, protecting unity, and guiding the church to stay faithful to Scripture.
