Rhu school project is tops like in the Royal Navy, whilst Jim Richardson from the Helensburgh Branch of the Royal British Legion gave the children a very interesting and inspirational account of his experience as a Prisoner of War during World War Two.

A school project by pupils at Rhu Primary has been shortlisted for the Royal British Legion Scotland's 2016 Schools Award.

“The children were fascinated and their interest in the project has gone from strength to strength. I am extremely proud of Charlotte and all the pupils for the hard work and dedication they have shown towards this.� Pupils from primary 6, Lochgilphead Primary School also made the final.
