Our technical events have the objective of providing education on industry matters. These events are designed to address the specific knowledge needs and interests of members, as they have expressed a desire for more information in these areas. The aim is to offer valuable insights and expertise to enhance our members’ understanding and proficiency in relevant industry topics.
We are committed to working with members to recruit and retain the best talent. As a result we are working with our education partner FIESTA (Furniture + Interiors Education, Skills + Alliance training) to bring you the opportunity to expand your knowledge to help you to recruit and retain the next generation of talent via apprenticeships, working with training providers to support your workforce needs. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet FIESTA Skills plus coordinator, share best practice and network with colleagues. This event will include refreshments and will be FREE of charge to members.
This year the Spring Networking event will be hosted in Glasgow. The event aims to create a relaxed environment for members to invite potential and existing clients, fostering relationships, and establishing new connections. Additionally, we will be featuring a guest speaker at the event. This event will include refreshments and food and will take place at a central Glasgow location.

CARDIFF
CARDIFF OPEN The Cardiff OPEN pop-up exhibition provides a platform for interior designers, buyers, and specifiers to personally connect with top contract furnishing suppliers from the UK and Wales. This brand new showcase will feature prominent commercial manufacturers and suppliers who will present high-end products that bring value, excellence, and innovation to the Welsh and UK market. This OPEN event offers the opportunity for attendees to explore and engage with the latest offerings in the industry, fostering connections and facilitating business collaborations. Design Insider, our leading online design industry magazine, will be presenting a series of Designer Panel sessions with invited industry leading speakers, discussing key hospitality and sustainability topics. CIUK OPEN EVENT
The Annual Dinner, formerly known as the Northern Dinner, will be held at Halle St Peters in Manchester. The event will feature formal dining, dancing, and networking. Additionally, the winner of the Commercial Interiors UK Next Generation Award will be celebrated and announced during the event. This award aims to recognize and welcome up-and-coming interior designers currently studying at university, with the goal of fostering the next generation of designers in the industry. In future years new categories will be added to these awards to help promote and celebrate the next generation of young people within the commercial interiors industry.

DESIGN INSIDER EVENT
The forum will be structured with three knowledge-packed sessions. From keynote speakers and panel discussions to personalized 1-1 conversations and interactive workshops, each session will cater to diverse roles - from juniors to senior managers, spanning various job functions including designers, marketing executives, and sales team members. The inclusivity extends to earning a CPD point with each session, fostering continuous learning across the entire team. Food and refreshments will be provided.
