Celebration

CELEBRATION

MESA facilitated all five Heritage Month Programs virtually this year. 95 events were held across Black History Month, Latinx, Native American, Arab, and Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Months. They consisted of a mix of cultural celebrations and educational dialogues to commemorate the history, struggles, triumphs, and contributions each community made to US society. Most events were coordinated by student organizations, while MESA and the Heritage Month Planning Committees focused on high profile speaker events and academic collaborations.
