28 miles Sou’ Sou’ West of Land’s End, at the very tip of Britain, lie the Isles of Scilly. The world renowned gardens of Tresco abound with flora from all over the globe and were conceived in the 1830s by a man of vision, Augustus John Smith.

Today the island thrives as a private estate welcoming visitors from all the points of the compass. In fact from all the parts of the world that the gardens plants originate.

The island of Bryher can be described as an island of two halves. The soft beautiful beaches of Green Bay and Rushy Bay are contrasted by the rugged granite outcrops of Shipman Head and Hell Bay from where the next stop is America.

With beautiful long sandy beaches and an historic daymark, St Martin’s stands out as the most north easterly of the five inhabited islands.

St Agnes is the most South Westerly inhabited island in the UK... it is also one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
