Health Care Chaplaincy

The Health Care Chaplaincy Apostolate supports Catholic health care chaplaincy at all hospitals and many nursing homes throughout the Archdiocese. For help in accessing hospitals or arranging spiritual care for a patient, contact John Schultz, Director Health Care Chaplaincy Apostolate at (646) 942-0640 or jschultz@archcare.org.

Parish Integration

• Assistance with bringing health care resources (e.g., health screenings, home care, community programs) to your parish based on parish/neighborhood need.

• Resources for parish-based volunteers to serve the homebound and other isolated parishioners.

Respect Life Office

Miscarriage Ministries and Resources

Though often a hidden grief, miscarriage can be an experience of deep suffering. It can be overwhelming to navigate and difficult to know where to turn. The Respect Life Office website offers ministries and resources that are available to help those who are grieving the loss of a child find healing and hope. Filipino Pilgrimage in Honor of Our Lady of Antipolo

The Filipino Catholic Community of Hudson Valley in collaboration with the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Diocese of Bridgeport Filipino Apostolate will welcome the Most Rev. Ruperto Santos, DD, Bishop of Antipolo (Philippines) for a day of pilgrimage at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Saturday, 21 June 2025.

A special healing mass presided over by Fr. Matthew MacDonald, administrator for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! The Mass will be June 27th at 7:00 p.m. After the final blessing, a first-class relic of Bl. Carlo Acutis will be available both to venerate as well as opportunity to be prayed over for physical and spiritual healing.
