• GUIDE, Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience Model, is a nationwide care coordination and navigation program from the Federal Medicare and Medicaid Services Innovation Center to support Medicare beneficiaries with dementia and their unpaid caregivers who are typically family members.
• Goal of program is to provide no-cost comprehensive package of services to improve their quality of life enabling them to remain at home while reducing the burden on loved ones.
• We achieve this through care coordination and community resource navigation including a comprehensive assessment and persondirected care plan.

40 Days for Life

The Black Catholic Community of the Archdiocese of New York will celebrate Black History Month with a “Pilgrimage of Courageous Hope” by having a Mass celebrating Black History at different parishes every Sunday in February. If you’re wondering how to have hope amidst the climate crisis, join the club! The Converge Ministry and the Laudato Si Circle at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi are co-hosting a new book club to discuss Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World , by Katharine Hayhoe. According to the author, a Christian and a climate scientist, simply talking about it is a huge step in the right direction so that’s what we’ll do with the guidance she provides in the book. The Holy See has designated a number of Jubilee Days throughout 2025 to recognize and celebrate different groups in the Catholic Church. The Jubilee of the World of Volunteering will be held on March 8-9, but we encourage all the faithful to engage with and celebrate volunteers throughout the entire Jubilee Year!
Volunteering is a powerful way to live out the spirit of the Jubilee Year. We encourage all faithful to explore opportunities to give back to their communities.

Ascension Church Food Pantry

Join this kid-run food pantry, where kids and teens can volunteer to support over 400 families in need! Fresh food and non-perishable food items are distributed the third Saturday of the month.
• Setup: Friday before distribution | 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Distribution: Saturday | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
