Joined by Bristol Ensemble, Bristol Choral Society present Haydn’s The Creation. From vivid depictions of initial chaos and darkness, through the creation of light, the world and its inhabitants, Haydn packs his musical creation with inventiveness, wit, beauty and wonder. “I spent much time over it because I expect it to last for a long time,” he wrote. 217 years later, it’s easy to see why! Prepare to embark on a never-ending story... as the last train rolls in, there’s a little time to say your goodbyes, your weary head is nearing the pillow and strange tales turn to ghostly dreams. The Last Train Track will provide the perfect bedtime story to a soundtrack of warm electronica, trains and folk-like fables.
