KARIN KARLSSON Karin Karlsson is one tough woman. Ever since she was young she always found a way to challenge herself. If it was jumping from tree to tree in the forest or snowboarding, she was always outside in nature where she feels at peace and most stimulated. Her endless need to challenge herself is projected in her OCR reportoir. She is powerful OCR athlete who pushes boundaries, being gusty and limitless.

GET TO KNOW KARIN KARLSSON HOW DID YOUR JOURNEY BEGIN? After 4 years traveling, working and snowboarding, I moved to Gothenburg to study. Training and movement has always been a big part of my life I now started too look for a new way to express my passion. It started with me going to gym, playing football for fun, as much snowboard as still could do (limited when living in Gothenburg ;)). I really enjoyed this time just doing whatever I felt like doing and I built a solid fitness base and I was ready for a challenge. Then I saw an Obstacle course race; climbing over and under obstacles and getting muddy, “I have to try this”. After that first race I was completely in love. I felt that this is what the body is made to do, it just felt natural to run and overcome obstacles in my way, the absolute optimized fitness in training and life, and I was determined to see just how good I could be.
