The Role of Silicone Softener in Textile Processing:

These softeners are used to improve the softness properties of the fabric. In addition, these softeners are also used to improve abrasion resistance, tear strength, static protection, and soil resistance.

Silicone softeners have a wide application range in the textile industry. The application of silicone textile finishing auxiliaries is not limited to natural fibres and can be used on different synthetic fibers. Silicone softener is known for its excellent temperature stability and durability. Silicones are one of the most versatile polymers used across different types of textiles.
